1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Depth, depth, depth, especially in the rotation. That and another year of growth from all the young guys. Our rotation was one of the worst in the league last season. John Burns and Bryan Porter are the home-grown guys that we are hoping to help out with that. Porter posted 1.8 WAR in 35 GS as a 21-year old, but has ace potential. Burns is a lefty with similar potential, but is less polished than Porter and struggled in 3 GS last season. To shre them up, we splurged 36M on SP Ivan Garcia over 2 years, and 10.6M for one season of Toby Bannatyne. They’re both veteran ground ballers, who I really try and target playing half our games in CBP. Between those 4 and several other young SP’s who are close to breaking through, we should have an improved rotation.
On the offensive side, the big loss was 1B Joe Tearlach, who has given us 3 very productive seasons. Beyond that, the lineup is largely the same, though I am a little uneasy relying on Rhyn Hyde, Spencer Simmons, and James Despard repeating their 2066 numbers.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
I would’ve said SP Bryan Porter, but don’t think he’s technically a spec anymore after starting 35 games last season, even though he’s only 22. For a still officially a rookie, I’ll say OF Armando Gracia. Hope is he’s another big RHB to join McBryde in the middle of the lineup for years. Gracia has risen fast, since he was a polished college hitter when I drafted him 9th overall in the 2065 draft.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
Can’t argue with a 6.8 WAR season, so 3B Bill McBryde easily.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
I feel like whenever I think my team is in the right direction we take a step back. I thought 2065 was going to be a solid year, but we sucked. Then last season I did not have high hopes and we made the playoffs. It “feels” like our window is now open for the next 5 seasons, with McBryde and Gracia already in the lineup and C Anthony Mills and 1B Ezra Schneider hopefully joining within the next 2 seasons. The rotation has Bryan Porter and John Burns that should be anchoring it for years to come, plus several other young SP that should be able to round out the rotation.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I have no idea what is new in it and didn’t even now it was coming out haha.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Was thinking of seeing a Red Sox game, since I will be in Boston next month to run the Boston Marathon, but alas, they’re out of town. Maybe I’ll pay the money for the marathon after-party just to see inside Fenway, since that’s where the party is at. I’d like to see a Phillies game sometime, but don’t know when I’ll be up in PA. They need to bring an MLB team to Raleigh.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction? Pirates vs Astros, Astros in 5. Though if you go by the predictive power of my NCAA bracket, I’ll almost certainly be completely wrong.

What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Our goal this offseason was to adjust to new ownership budget expectations (hard eye roll) and make it into spring with a team worthy of defending a title. Every nickel and dime was retrieved from under front office couch cushions to re-sign fan favorite Michael Crouss. Key losses include long time first baseman Ramon Crus, and SS Kelvin White. Small additions I'm excited for include LH specialist Takiji Miura (10/10/6) against lefties was acquired in the rule V draft, and vet RH 3b/1b platoon Sergio Torres agreed to a minor league deal for a shot to win a roster spot in spring training.
What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
The #4 prospect in baseball, 22 year old Leandro Vargo, received his first spring training invite. He won't get the call this year, but will be a mainstay in LF for many years to come. Vargo was an international signing in 2061. While Vargo has recieved most of the national hype, 22 yr old Woody Vaughn has developed and performed better than Vargo. There's a high probability that Vaughn get the call this season. Vaughn was a 2nd round pick in 2063.
Who is the best player on your active roster?
Hard to say anyone other than MVP Jamal Cervantes. He literally does it all. I'm most excited to see if 24 yr old Stanley Bond continues to develop into my ace. Could Ramon Encarnacion or Jake Meacha be my 3rd best starting pitcher?
Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
If we can avoid the injury bug, I expect us to make a run at repeat
With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
A lot of people don't like the new UI. I actually like it. Otherwise, I didn't have any expectations going into it.
With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
I typically go to 10-15 Brewers games a year
And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Cincinnati over Rangers

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Not a ton of changes in Washington as usual. SP Mike Hernandez and IF Armando Torres are out as we try to fill those roles internally with some up and coming top 100 prospects. RP Johnny Lee comes over from Texas to try to improve our main weakness in the bullpen, and CF John McGee returns to give us some more options vs LHP.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
I lit a ton of money on fire to sign OF Luis Morin in international FA last year, so sunk cost fallacy says I have to go with him. For this season though I have SP Billy Kemper and IF Rusty Tucker coming up to fill the gaps I mentioned in my first answer. I'm excited to inject some new blood into my aging team, especially on offense.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
3B Jose Varquez is already north of 90 career WAR, and put up 6 last year while missing about 50 games due to injury. With all due respect to Aureliano Cervantes who's also a likely HoFer, and Dan Gallaghe who led the NL in pitching WAR the last two years, I can't go against that track record.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
We return most everyone off a team that won the pennant last year, and finally broke the NLDS curse, so yeah we can make a run. Whether or not we will depends on if we get hot in October.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I'm not really up to date on OOTP 24 news. I just buy the new versions as they come and try to put together usually good, rarely great seasons.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
No specific plans, but I need to get to a Cubs game sometime this year, even if they are just spinning their wheels again.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Reds over Rangers in 7 seems like the safest bet.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
After leading KC to a winning record for the first time in 5 years in my inaugural season, we struggled last year, finishing a very disappointing 71-91mostly due to injuries. Our ace (Ron Coleman), closer (Angel Chavez) and best hitter (1B Tamuramara Maeda) all were out for most of the season. They're all back and healthy this year, so we should get back over .500. Signed two key FAs in the offseason - OF Bert Acheson, who pretty consistently hits 4.0+ WAR, and SP Howard Brock, who gives us a much-needed fifth starter. If everyone stays healthy, I think we can make a run for a wild-card slot. If so, it would be KC's first appearance in the postseason since 2056.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
3B Nick Reed - selected him with the 1.1 in my first PBL draft in 2065 (to the surprise of some), and he's now ready to make his PBL debut. Still developing, but should give a big boost to our pretty anemic offense.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
I'm hoping it turns out to be the afore-mentioned Bert Acheson.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
I would consider just making the wild-card to be a "deep run" for KC. I'm not "expecting" to do it, but I think there's a chance it happens, if we get a little lucky.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
Nothing. Perfectly content with OOTP 23.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Absolutely. Even though its going to be another dismal rebuilding season for my Nationals, nothing beats an afternoon or evening at the ballpark on a nice summer day.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
LA Angels over Arizona D-Backs

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?Not a whole lot, Again we were over (what is termed a) budget by end of the year. My fault, as I saw a bit of early success and thought I might augment with a couple of free agents. Will resist that entirely this season. Goin' with what we got! And counting on development of young talent to get us as far as we can.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?SP Dave Lundy, a first round pick in 2062, rated as high as #1 PBL prospect, until he was injured. He has been on the shelf for about 9 months. Provided he stays on the firsl, cannot wait to see what he might do!
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?Hoping the one-two punch of Oscar Blackwell and Lucio Rivera will pay off for us this season. Great defense up the middle was a plan for this season, and Blackwell's bat has proved effective.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?Playoffs? Playoffs? I just hope we win a game.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version? We still have owners active in PBL. There has been some work done on owners for 24 that will hopefully spur some interest and allow a bit more strategy and, in turn, some success with your guy!
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?Would love to, but a little impractical for me. Will watch or listen to every game of the favourite.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?I predict we again will not claim the ultimate prize. But someday...

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
We've made few changes (though potentially one still in the offing but the target is messing us around royally) as we preferred to bring back some of the one year deals from last time that worked out well. So waiver wire pick up's David Aguilar (SP) and Tusginori Kakuta (1B) both return. Kakuta is worth it for the additional fan interest and ticket sales he brings in alone but he will back up at first tis year and get the occasional spin at DH.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
We haven't really done prospects in recent years but 22 year old SP Nathan Rose, a 7th round pick from 2063 is very likely to make the team after blossoming at both AA and AAA last season. Elsewhere we continue to hope that former first rounder knuckleballer Bo Watson can come on but he's a slower burn than Rose although his development wasn't helped by a year out with TJS.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
We're fortunate to have 3 players who could walk onto most rosters in CF Kenzaburo Sato, RF Wayne Dorsett and 3B Jorge Luna. The personal favourite is still future HOF'er Sato though.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
I think we're capable of making the playoffs but not sure we have the pitching depth to make a deep run.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I play mostly in online leagues although I do have an idea for a world I'd like to create if I can get some time. Anything that can help the online league play would be appreciated.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
I do and already have tickets! Being UK based it's exciting to see MLB come again to London this year so I'll be at the two Cards v Cubs games in June this year. Unfortunately I can't see a US trip on the horizon this summer so likely to be just those games that I'll get to see in person.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Nats (finally) over Texas in 6

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Not much in the way of changes in Toronto this off-season. I inherited a team that was close to the post-season, but with limited resources in terms in $$$ and prospects I decided the best course was to run things back and hope luck is on our side (and give me time as a new owner to get a sense of how this league values players). 3B Mike Dean and SP Don Joseph are the key departures, while 3 arms picked up in the Rule V draft are the only additions as of March 7. We expect to dumpster dive in FA before the season starts, hoping to add a bat at 3B or the OF and adding an arm to give the rotation a bit of depth, but time will tell whether we can accomplish that piece. 2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
What's a prospect? I kid, but the farm is pretty barren for the Blue Jays, with no top 100 prospects. I guess I'll go with 1B Walt Browning or LF Antonio Aleman, who look like they could be impact bats, but both are a ways from helping. Hopefully at next year's media day we're talking about our 2067 first rounder, but time will tell
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
It's gotta be DH Bill McMillan, who broke out in a big way last year with 65 HR. He was a breakout star in 2066, and the expectation is that he continues to produce at that level going forward. A shout out here to SS Jim Andres, who is the polar opposite of McMillan (who may or may not be allergic to leather). Andres is a 3 time Gold Glove winner in 3 big league seasons and has been worth nearly 14 WAR while sporting a .650 OPS.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
The expectation is that the Blue Jays compete for a playoff spot, and if we make it in, we'll see how it goes. Things will need to break our way given our budget and lack of prospects, so we'll see. If the season does not go well, we could start to rebuild, but hoping it does not come to that.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I'm probably most excited to try out the new trade deadline day feature, but am just fine waiting until the All-Star Break sale to wet my beak.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
As a Brewer transplant in Minnesota, I usually attend a Brewers/Twins game at Target Field each season. It's looking like I'll make it to a game in Milwaukee too at some point this summer.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
I'll go Reds over Twins in 6.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for? Cards found ourselves in unfamiliar territory with a little money available for free agency. Unfortunately we struck out on both of our targets. Instead we elected to sign a mountain of cheap, old, extremely popular players to one year contracts. We are not expecting much of a change to the win/loss record but are projecting an additional $20M in revenue as a result. The marketing department is organizing ball signing events at virtually every home game.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him? Steve Effin Rivera! No doubt about it. The 2065 4th overall pick put up a beefy 6 WAR in AA and AAA last season. Traditional logic and conservative thinking says between Rivera only having 2 years professional service time and the window for the org still a a ways down the road we should give him another year in AAA. No reason to start that clock early. Problem is when we sat him down and tried to look him in the eye, we just could not do it. Dude is ready for his shot in the show and assuming his Spring Training is not putrid, he'll get it. Honorable mention to 2066 2nd overall pick Paul King who projects to pair up with Rivera in the heart of the lineup in 2-3 seasons.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster? Well you hate to say it with zero major league innings played under his belt, but the bar is pretty low. Likely it will be the afore mentioned Steve Effin Rivera.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open? Nah. Still got some work to do. It will be interesting in 5 seasons if Rivera and King can be what we hope and what help we can surround them with.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version? It is on my list over the next couple weeks to get it installed and see what changes are coming. As always I appreciate any heads up from GMs that see something noteworthy we may want to consider before transitioning to new versions.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season? Live games really aren't my thing. I enjoy it but elect to spend my disposable income elsewhere. I am right outside of the Twin Cities and have only been in Target Field twice.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction? Anything can and does happen in the post season but I don't see any reason not to expect Reds and Rangers to be the one seeds again. I'll take the Reds over Rangers in 6.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
The carousel at 3B continues, as Jorge Gonzalez was brought in from Cleveland for his turn on the ride. Gonzalez brings a combination of solid defense and power, a combo that hasn't been seen in Cincinnatti in quite some time. Lefty reliever Ernesto Zavala was brought in as an upgrade arm to our bullpen. Zavala has the make up to be a solid lefty option that can also pitch against RHB, but hasn't put it together the past few years. Perhaps a change of scenery will be a positive change.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
SP Rick Vinson and OF/DH Ruben Reyes. Vinson, a 12th round pick out of the 2061 draft, will break camp in the Reds rotation. The sky is the limit with Vinson, and he showed with his September call up that he's ready for a larger role in Cincinnati. Pitching depth is a necessity, but Vinson could end up being an Ace someday. Four Aces are really hard to beat. Ruben Reyes was acquired as an International signing in 2060 and appears to be on the cusp of starting his PBL career. One problem though, are there enough at bats to justify a roster spot? With the current roster, that answer is no. Reyes will begin the year at AAA but will be the first prospect to get a shot if one of our power hitters goes down.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
Even though Zack Davis won the MVP, it has to be OF Greg McIntosh. McIntosh can do it all. Power, speed, gets on base, and can play defense. He's our non-traditional leadoff man, and not many SP enjoy seeing him in the box.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
At this point, not making a deep run would be a disappointment. Anything can happen in a short series, but I believe our team stacks up well against anyone. It's almost time to "put up, or shut up"!
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I've only briefly started looking at the changes, but one I'm looking forward to most is in regards to IAFA. I haven't tried a solo game yet, but from what I can tell we get an earlier release of the names and setup workouts with the prospects leading up to the signing period. It's a wrinkle and something different, rather than the one sim based purely on the highest offer. It also allows more teams to develop a strategy, rather than waiting all season and having a bag of cash that can't be used for anything else.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
I'll be in St. Louis for a few games, and am going to try to get up to Milwaukee as well.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Reds over the Twins in 6.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
We were looking both the offense and defense in CF & 2B and I think we accomplished both goals by signing Tom Green and Kurt Wood. Should improve the lineup and prevents some runs on balls hit up the middle.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
Yankees have been fortunate to have quick a few of our prospects have an immediate impact the last few seasons (G-Rod, Costello, Salinas & Roberge). But now the cupboard is bare and sadly have no prospects we are very excited about. Would be nice if my scout would uncover somebody - somewhere. I am amazed at how he can go into the most talent rich countries in the world and find the only kid who can't play baseball.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
Sweet swinging Guillermo Rodriguez has already established himself as the best player in New York at only 23 years old.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
No team as repeated as AL East champion in 10 seasons, so the Yankees have to break that streak this season to have a chance. I think if we can get into the post season mix we have the talent to win a ring.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I installed it last week but haven't really taken a deep dive yet. Am curious to see how that trade deadline feature plays out
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Have plans to go to Boston at the end of the month and will grab a game at Fenway and expect to get to Citi Field for a few games this summer.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction? Pirates return to glory beating the Rangers

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
We're all entitled to our opinion. Mine is that Cleveland's 2066 starting rotation set a standard for ineptitude that is in a class by itself. We added three SPs in free agency, none of them world-beaters, but all of them better than Cleveland's best starters last season. Since this will be my 14th PBL season I know better than to have expectations, but what I hope for is that my starters won't get beaten like rented mules every time they take the mound. If this group finishes among the top ten AL rotations I will be in baseball nirvana. Will I settle for eleventh? Hell yes, I'll take eleventh.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
Oh no you don't. I know how this works. Every media day I name specs I am excited about, then they crash, burn and die. You will hear nothing from me. You say I'm substituting superstition for management ability. I say superstition is all I've got. There are players I'm excited about, and I will say who they are when they are the answer to question #3. There is not a single SP in Cleveland's farm system that I am excited about. Once there were, but they all crashed, burned and died. Horribly.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
I'm not going to complain about my two top WAR guys, but between the two of them they hit 8 baseballs out of the park last season. You have to admit this is an exceptional statistic. Find another team whose best players combined for 8 home runs. Long story short, my power guys didn't hit. If I say who they are, they disappear. If I pay them, they disappear. So I'm not saying who they are, and I'm not going to pay them. Going forward Cleveland players fly under the radar.
4. Do you expect to make a xxxx playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
I honestly believe Cleveland isn't too far away from a playoff berth. Not talking a deep run, just getting to the show. Here I'm projecting that some of our young guys reach their potential and stay there for a few years. Considering the way things have gone, Cleveland must have an irresistible night life. I'm rethinking what it might mean that this team has excellent chemistry.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I'm not familiar with it. I'm nervous about a new UI when it took so long to get used to the old one.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
No. If we lived closer to Wrigley Field or Fenway Park I might. I love the old ballparks. They have character. No one would build a Fenway Park today. Some day the BoSox will have a new stadium and they will be just another team.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Minnesota and Cincinnati have gotten better and they were awfully good already. Reds in seven.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for? We are starting 23 year old #55 prospect Gabriel Rodriguez in the 5th spot in the rotation and signed a couple of veteran bats. SS Kelvin White and brought back SS Chris Bell to play 2B. We will probably be the same terrible team because all of the staff is probably #4 or 5 starters. Prospects just don't meet their expectations for this team.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him? RF Ronald McDonald. I drafted him last season as my #1 and he had an outstanding first year in rookie ball. He's making the jump to A-ball this season.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster? My closer, lol!!!
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open? No...I have no idea. We may need to install some new windows in our shiny new stadium, lol!!
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version? Just digging into the game with a solo league.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season? Yes, when the Mariners are close to me in PA I will catch a couple of games. I'll go to some AA Altoona Curve games as we, as I live a few minutes from the park.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction? I think Texas and Cincinnati will bounce back. Texas in 7.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
We definitely tried to build up our organizational depth and hopefully added some bats to score a few more runs than last season.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
We have a few we’re excited about, SP Javier Perez will be making the big club after giving us 5 solid starts at the end of last season and playing well all spring. Really hoping he takes the next steps this season. Gotta love mid 1st picks coming through. Hopefully the trend continues.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
SS Emiliano Girometta!
6’6” SS with power. That’s about as dreamy as it gets. 😎
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
Would love to just be in the hunt late again this season. I believe we have a solid .500 team with the potential to win around 86-85 games if a couple guys take off. Hopefully our window will start opening soon.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
I honestly haven’t looked into it much. We enjoy the game replays so anything on that front is a bonus.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Yes! GO Rangers!!! 🤠
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
Cincy over Texas in 6.

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Very budget constrained, so had to make do with not much dollar investment. Which is why we are starting a 33 year old journeyman in CF.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
SP Jesus Zagal, the best TCR we have had in franchise history. This will be his first full year in the rotation.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
Probably Zegal or SP Frederik Lambert. Detroit is transitioning from an offensive team to pitching/defense.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
Let's hope so.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
Less crashes.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Yes, at least one game. Also want to go to a few games in Manchester NH for the AA team.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
SF over Bal in six games
