1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?Much of the team is similar to last season, but there are some differences. The loss of Clyde Walmsley with no true replacement makes the 1B/DH spots a little dicey for now, but those are not tough spots to improve in season if need arises. The team brought in catcher Richard Kinney, who has skills that make him look like one of the best catchers in the league; Texas hopes he is a big upgrade behind the plate. Lost a few decent relievers from last season, but have high hopes for Andre Hale after a strong preseason. LHP Joe Wheeler has been a guy Texas has liked for years, an inconsistent pitcher but with big talent. Hopes are high for Wheeler in the number 3 or 4 spot in the rotation. 2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?OF Noboru Oike, a young slugger. He was discovered and signed by the scouting department. 3. Who is the best player on your active roster?OF Michael Gutierrez, OF Makalani Korra, and RHP Francisco Martinez are all in the mix. The team hopes Gutierrez becomes the clear cut guy this season. 4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?Yes. 5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version? I haven't looked through features, but they usually slightly improve the game so that's a good thing. 6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
I will be going to Twins games this year, I am excited about the new rules and the first few games of the season so far look like they are good changes. Will go when the Red Sox come to town. 7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?Texas over Cincinnati in a sweep!

1. What changes has your organization undergone since last season. What impacts do you expect or hope for?
Position players: Rookie Denis Gustafson, age 23, should add pop to the lineup. I’m excited to see how he performs. He should also help improve the 1B position (more production vs. RHP) while splitting time playing RF, his primary position. If Craig Martin can reach his contact and power potential, the young core of Mel Franklin, Gustafson, Martin, and Juan Guzman could be potent for many years. Guzman, still 22 years old, is the biggest surprise improving to a top 3 (currently #1) rated SS in the PBL during his rookie year. Nice!
Also, C Bill Stevens was acquired to mentor the young pitchers, to serve as a co-captain and eventual captain, and to mentor talented prospect John Trevenot after Trevenot is promoted to the big show.
Pitching: Most SPs are improving nicely, so there was no need to disrupt things. If they can reach their potential, and put up the stats to show they have, the staff should be very solid. Only one of the starting five is older than 26. And Jack Wheeler, age 23, shows signs that he may develop into our next HOF calibre closer.
2. What spec are you most excited about? How did you obtain him?
For immediate contributions, Denis Gustafson, who was a 1st round supplemental pick in 2065. Again, we are excited to see how well he will perform this season.
For the future, C John Trevenot, who was the 1st pick in the 2066 draft. He's probably a year or so away from the bigs. Good catchers are hard to find. Trevenot could become a great one.
3. Who is the best player on your active roster?
Juan Guzman, a talented, durable young SS would have to be considered the best of several very good, young players. Hopefully, SPs Francisco Mendoza and Hideki Nakashima will soon challenge Guzman for this recognition. Our coaches are high on both of the pitchers.
4. Do you expect to make a deep playoff run this season? If not, when are you projecting your next window could open?
Yes, we expect to win the division race and advance deep into the playoffs.
5. With the release today of OOTP 24, what are you looking forward to most in the new version?
Fewer annoying bugs and corrective software updates.
6. With MLB Opening Day also right around the corner, do you plan on going to any games in person this season?
Perhaps. We may travel to Seattle for a game or two. Also, we will be in KC in early June for a family gathering. We may be able to arrange to attend the Reds vs. Royals game on 6/12.
7. And the traditional final question, what is your 2067 World Series prediction?
The Reds will overcome their disappointing showing in last year's playoff run by rebounding to win the WS. They will beat Texas.
