Submitted by Colorado Rockies:
"Or a really interesting way to do it (handle comp picks) is put all the signing team's picks in a pool and then according to Elias (how the compensation picks would be ordered), assign the team giving up the best player the best pick in the pool then go down that list assigning teams picks that have given up signed FA."
PBLRC RECOMMENDATION: The committee is unanimously recommending that we do not adopt this method for handling comp picks.
PBLRC ANALYSIS: In the unanimous opinion of the committee, the extra work to implement this rule combined with the potential for problems with its implementation, far outweigh any perceived benefit to making this change, especially without any stated support for such a rule change on the forum.

Commissioners Response: On topic #7, the committee nailed it exactly with the following response " the extra work to implement this rule combined with the potential for problems with its implementation, far outweigh any perceived benefit to making this change."

Great work! I was just going to go in and put my responses here. You took the work out of it for me.
I love the deliberations behind all this, I feel its a much smoother way of handling new changes and the presentation to the league and myself has been spot on and easy to read.
