"Or a really interesting way to do it (handle comp picks) is put all the signing team's picks in a pool and then according to Elias (how the compensation picks would be ordered), assign the team giving up the best player the best pick in the pool then go down that list assigning teams picks that have given up signed FA."

Or we could just go back to using the rules in the old CBA.

As question 6, but far more confusion, and possibly impossible to actually do in OOTP.

The possible scenario to have a conflict over which player could be the best is too possible in this situation. I'd be against this rule.
If we did anything like, I'd agree with the Angels and just go back to the old way.
