05/06/13 New York (11-15, 2-7 Road) vs. Cleveland (15-9, 6-3 Home) Projected Pitchers NYY: C.C. Sabathia (2-3, 2.97 ERA) CLE: P. Hughes (2-2, 3.44 ERA)
The Yankees have hit a bit of a rough patch losing a series to the Orioles before dropping three of four to Oakland. Now they begin a 10 game road trip starting off in Cleveland. C.C. Sabathia gets the start, and he's been strong all season with a 2.97 ERA and 0.99 WHIP. However, the Yanks are second from the bottom in the AL in runs scored, so that low ERA and WHIP has only led to a 2-3 record. Neither Nyjer Morgan, nor Dustin Martin is hitting for any average, with Morgan hitting .212 and Martin .205.
Cleveland is only 1.5 games behind the White Sox for first in the Central. Donnie Webb has been a sensation, smacking six home runs to start the season, including a walk-off to beat the Tigers on Friday. With Deck McGuire carrying an ERA near five, and Justin Masterson an ERA near seven, having Hughes on the mound might be Cleveland's best bet and stifling the Yankees.

5 - 2 Indians
MVP: Santana
Just so everyone knows Withrow is going to be the starter for the Indians actually. It is suppose to be his game in the rotation but an off day gave Hudges the ability to go, but we have decided to go with Withrow to later get Carrasco a game in the rotation instead of Masterson. Rest wise it works out best for the Indians. Withrow's stats are as follows: 2-0 3.00 ERA in 4 starts 27.0IP 19K
Sorry if this caused any inconveniences it is just what was best for the team. Withrow already got skipped over once and we didnt want that to happen again.

Rockies win the pick'em at 4-2 Indians. Actual score 2-1 Indians.
Go ahead and pick next sim's game, Erick. Dare you to bring the Padres/Rockies rivalry into the limelight.
Oh... and congratulations... or something... whatever.

Also... Erick pulls into a tie with Sam for All-Time PBL Pick'em Overall Leader.
We need more picks people! Lower the odds!!!

I'm not going to pick my own game unless it's obviously the best game of the week. I'll only pick my own game once, and I'll save it for the Dodgers (or later in the year).
Let's go with Red Sox-Twins. A pair of disappointing teams and disappointing Cy Young candidates. We'll say ESPN slotted this game in the preseason and it's too late to back out of.
