04/08/13 Los Angeles Dodgers (0-0) at Colorado Rockies(0-0) Projected Pitchers: LAD: RHP R. Harden (17-8, 3.55 ERA)* COL: RHP B. Webb (16-7, 2.86 ERA)*
*2012 stats
As the PBL heads into its opening day, the NL West wastes no time pumping out a premiere match-up. The Rockies and Dodgers are the acknowledged favorites to compete for the division, and fans didn't have to wait long for them to match aces.
Veterans Rich Harden and Brandon Webb will square off for the Rockies' home-opener. Pitching remains a question mark for both teams, and the health of these two righties will play a pivotal role in either teams success this season.
On the offensive side of the ball, both the Dodgers and Rockies will feature reincarnations of their 2012 squads. No major additions were made to the National League champs' line-ups in the off-season. Dexter Fowler and Carlos Gonzalez's injuries open up an opportunity for former-Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe to make his return-debut. Hawpe joins Jose Lopez as the only major additions to the Colorado lineup.

To help the voting public, here's some info on Colorado's lineup vs. Rich Harden:
Iannetta: 4-17 1HR Lopez: 3-12 1HR Smith: 7-17 1HR Tulowitzki: 4-26 Stewart: 4-24 3HR Hawpe: 1-11 Jacobs: 0-1 Spilborghs: 1-6 Webb: 1-4
Not good for my lineup.
Brandon Webb last season made 4 starts against the Dodgers. He went 2-1 with a 3.90 ERA. He struck out 11 in 23.1 innings, allowing only 22 hits.
In his first start against the Dodgers he worked 8 innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on seven hits, striking out four in a win.
In his second start he went eight innings allowing a lone run on four strikeouts and six hits in a win.
In his third start he worked seven innings, allowing a lone unearned run on three hits with three strikeouts but the pen blew a 3-0 lead.
His fourth start came the final week of the season with nothing to play for. He surrendered seven earned runs on six hits in a third of an inning. He took the loss.
I think it's going to be a pitching duel and the Rockies will win 4-2, with Mike Jacobs as the MVP.
