06/11/12 Baltimore Orioles (33-25) at Minnesota Twins (30-26) Projected Pitchers: BAL: Brian Matusz (5.15 ERA, 3-4) MIN: Nick Blackburn (4.50 ERA, 3-6)
The Baltimore Orioles head to Target Field to take on the AL Central leading Minnesota Twins in this week's featured PBL Pick'em. The O's are currently the best road team in baseball, with a record of 17-9 away from Baltimore, including their most recent three game sweep of the Yankees in New York. Prior to traveling to New York, the Orioles swept the Texas Rangers at home, a team widely regarded as one of the best in the AL.
The Twins will look to recuperate at home, after two weeks on the road which saw them go 5-5. They'll do their best to keep themselves from becoming Baltimore's 7th win in a row, and will send out Nick Blackburn to silence the Orioles' hot bats. Blackburn threw 6.0 three-run innings his last outing, posting a no-decision against the Detroit Tigers.
Baltimore will send out the 25 year-old Brian Matusz, who will look to win his third straight start. Matusz's 5.15 ERA and 3-4 record do not look pretty, but his 11 HR against have inflated his mid-season numbers. Matusz has allowed 6 HR in his last 4 starts, including a 3-bomb disaster outing against Boston. The Orioles will need Matusz to, at least, return to his 2010/2011 level of play if they want to compete for the lone Wild Card spot in the tough American League.

Colorado wins this week's PBL Pick'em.
Erick, go ahead and post what you want the 6/25 game to be. That's in two weeks. If we're simming tomorrow night, it will not give enough teams enough time to submit their picks.

Some uhhh, riveting games the 25th....Let's see how the kiddie White Sox hold up when they go on the road to meet the Phillies' M.A.S.H unit. I'd wait until after tomorrow night's sim to complete a write-up.
