If this passes the age limits will be: (R) 23 years (A-) 24 years (A) 25 years (AA) No limit (AAA) No limit
This would be a new rule and I will cast any proxy votes to Abstain. So, simple majority wins this one.

Still voting no. Although I vaguely understand what this rule is attempting to avoid, I remain unclear about why it's bad, or why this is better.

Hopefully there is some wiggle room should the 24 & 25 be a bit restrictive? Like possibly R-23, both A's-26, then unrestricted AA/AAA?

A few years back we ontract minor league teams a few years ago because nobody wants to micromanage the minors, which has been a good move, and now a vote asking that we micro manage them more; I suppose some people keep asking for this -- I feel like we've voted on this before -- so I'll weigh in here. MLB has no age restrictions on minor league players. Attached at the bottom of this post are MiLB's current rules, which are more about service time than age. The age restrictions proposed are at least not too restrictive but I don't see the point, what problem are we responding to with this rule? Was my understanding that a new league rule requires a 75% vote to the affirmative, not a simple majority. Either way I'll take on faith that this won't pass because I doubt 17 people are eager to do age searches on their A-ball teams every few sims. And if it somehow does, no big deal, I'll adapt. Love this! I actually cited this info in another league and was trying to find that graphic again. Thank you for posting. While I don't think this specifically can be replicated in OOTP (only a certain number of players with a certain amount of time), this can be accomplished through blanket "pro years" service time. Less micro... More flexible... No old dudes in lower minors...

My opinion only...this really isn't a lot more work. If you don't care about your farm system at all, choose to have AI set when there is an issue. If you care about a few specific prospects, set them to disable AI promotion/demotion.

I think its a good idea and won't be bothersome for anyone who cares about their minor league system, particularly with the game preventing an export if there's non-compliance.

you don't need to micromanage. IF you have the AI promoting players outside of the few you might want to manager yourself it will balance out the ages correctly.

Carl (above) hit the nail on the head. And even if you do not use the AI feature, when exporting the "game" will notify you of any player who is over the age limit. Just like at the INT level, but for every level with a restriction. Easy peasy.
Personally, I favor younger age limits at some levels but the current proposal is one I support.
