1. What was your main goal this offseason? To improve the pitching
2. Did you accomplish it? Somewhat but not as much as I hoped. The signing of Robert Haynes will straighten my bullpen, but the cost of a quality starting pitcher got too rich, even for the Yankees budget. 3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? Jorge Taylor is the most significant player that is gone from last years team, but I am not going to miss him.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? Johnny Brooks has top of rotation potential and is just about ready. He will likely start the season in Triple A but is expected to make his big league debut this season.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? I acquired Mario Ramirez in a waiver deal from the Warhounds at the start of last season. He is liability in the field but he has a streaky live bat and when he is hot can carry a lineup for a week or two. He is far from my best player but he is currently my fav.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? It's time for the Yankees to return to the top of the division. To get to the top we need Ramon Encarnacion to raise his game to the next level. Encarnacion showed signs last year winning 9 games including a No-Hitter. Now it is time for him to consistently pitch like an ace.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? The Tigers return to the World Series and take home the ring beating the Nationals in 7

Keep my finances from completely imploding while adding another reliever. 2. Heck yes. 3. Nobody, it's literally the same team. 4. I don't know, Ivan Sanchez? He looks like a pretty nice vL middle infielder and Brian Black may be able to do some good in my vL lineups. 5. I don't really know. I have a lot of great players. But Matt Hines is my secret BFF. That guy has saved my butt so many times . . . and I'm 2/3 for championships when he's healthy. 6. Humbly, I think I have a reasonable shot. There may well be a day when the Brewers' roster falters and when one of the three teams below me starts challenging seriously, but I do not know that it is this day. RNG permitting. 7. Astros v Brewers. Astros win again, those bastards.

1. What was your main goal this offseason? Improve my pitching staff.
2. Did you accomplish it? Undecided. A lot of the kids from the farm are getting their shot during the spring. So far most are impressing. But, that usually doesn't translate to the regular season.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? SP Walton Hallamore. Even though he was 36 at the time, I picked him up off waivers from TB. He pitched very well for us as a starter and in the bullpen. Just didn't have room for him this season.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? SP Ralph Pace. He was in A-ball last season but is very polished. He's having a wonderful spring. Honorable mention: SP Joe Wheeler. I've been waiting for him to get his control under control (ha!). When he does he's going to be special. He's having a fine spring as well.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? 1B Jude Herbert for both answers. He's starting his 8th season with us. For a nanosecond after the season, I contemplated not extending him.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? On paper Oakland looks so good but, they haven't put it together yet. I'm guessing the Angels. They are a pretty young team and are just 2 years removed from a WS appearance. For us to win, everyone has to have career years. We are still a couple years away.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? Houston and Milwaukee with the LEGEND Shane winning the series.

1.What was your main goal this offseason? Get a lefty power bat to complement our righty heavy lineup. In addition after seeing our starting catcher suffer a significant decline during the offseason to strengthen that position.
2. Did you accomplish it? Hopefully. We traded for Rob Small just before Spring Training and whilst he isn't a complete power guy and not as great defensively as we like he will fit right in to the lineup. Still on the lookout for another lefty HR or bust guy. 3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? Our prior catcher Espinosa who often came through in clutch moments. But the decline took me by surprise.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? As last year it's still Wayne Dorsett. He was given the chance at the start of last season and it proved too much for him and I'm still uncertain as to whether he's ready now. So far results in spring are positive though.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? They are my children and I love them all equally.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? Colorado are still the team to beat though the moves that Oakland have made have me worried. Our Pitching and defense look solid but our offensive capabilities are our achilles heel so that's the area that needs to step up for us to remain competitive.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? The favourites have to be Houston and Milwaukee again - I'd shade Houston. As a dark horse watch out for Cleveland.

1. What was your main goal this offseason? Commit to a rebuild or make another run at the division.
2. Did you accomplish it? Yup, we're going to stay atop the NL West!
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? Easy, Antonio Lopez. One of the all-time career greats in San Diego retired a tad bit early for us, but it also gives us a chance to play someone in their 20's which is a rare sight here.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? Rookies, in SD, hah! But actually we picked up Vincente Juarez in the Rule V draft to be our lefthanded backup catcher. He won't get much playing time behind Lorenzo Hernandez, but he could be kind of exciting.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? My favorite players are getting old and packing up their bags every year it seems. Kata Okada is this year's favorite. Crushing home runs from the left side in a pitcher's park for 12 years.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? We'll be going for it, but I'd be ok with another team taking it this year. It's a new decade after all.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? Look back at the last couple of WS and there's a surprise team making its way in to the Fall Classic. I'll bet that happens again and who doesn't like a surprise now and then. Let's say Oakland's moves gets it into the WS, but loses to the Giants in a cross bay series.

1. What was your main goal this offseason? Get younger, pick up some prospects
2. Did you accomplish it? Kind of, we brought in a handful of young controllable talent. I would've liked to have moved a few more veterans for younger players or prospects though.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? SP Steve Byrd, last season he led the league in ERA. We don't have a strong rotation so that's a pretty easy one. At 36 I was happy to move on from him though and we got a few young players back that I'm hoping will be impactful the next time the Dodger's are ready to contend.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? RF Cecil Gore seems like he should be able to contribute right away, especially against right handed pitching. He is absolutely raking so far in Spring Training, hopefully some of that will carry over into the regular season. He should be able to get a lot of extra base hits as well as get on base at a decent rate and he has a strong arm in right field.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? Being new I don't really have a favorite player yet, I'm hoping one of the young players on my team can get there in the next season or two.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? The San Diego Padres look the best on paper although all the teams excluding mine look pretty good. I think we need a few years of rebuilding to catch up.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? The Astros over the Mets. The Astros feel like the best team on paper, the Mets are a great team in a weaker division so they should be able to rest key players and not rush anyone back from injury which I think gives them a slight advantage over the other elite teams and I didn't want to just go chalk with Astros v Brewers.

1. What was your main goal this off-season?The main goal is always to review the finances. Everything else comes second.
2. Did you accomplish it? Sort of?! We did push the budget from $88k to $95k for this year, which is outstanding, relatively speaking of course. During the off-season however, the projection for the next two years again took a turn. We original had shown yet another increase over the next two years. That has changed and we are now projecting losses. Possibly some winning will turn this thing around?
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? Nobody. People are here for a reason and are gone for a reason.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? I am truly hoping my free agent catcher signing, Jorge Reyes, is an impact player offensively and handles my pitching staff expertly. Thought that is a lot to toss at a 23 year old.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? RP Martin Herrera. I have spoken of him before. He's the 7th overall prospect, will close games for us (as needed) and I am really hoping his third pitch inches upward so that we can start him. The dreaded 1/9 "change up"!
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? Tough call, but I see Philadelphia sitting on top most of this season.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? Brewers and Astros (Yes, THAT Shane!) Astros are not quite there yet, so Brewers in 6. Repeat!

1. What was your main goal this offseason? Replenish the farm, take a step back, and load up for a new run in 4 or 5 seasons.
2. Did you accomplish it? Maybe too well. My entire trade block got moved leaving little talent left. This is going to be a tough season to endure.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? Jorge Fuentes for sure. I had visions of a full HOF career from him, all of it in Miami. His career hasn't been shaping up to HOF levels but he was still a really good home grown talent. Those are always tough to let go of.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? I have hopes of a long solid career coming from 2B Lawrence Izquirdo. He'll start the season in AAA but at a minimum he'll be getting at bats after roster expansion. Likely earlier.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? They are all gone. Out of what's left I have always been kind of partial to bullpen/spot starter south paw John Hill. It's fun to have RV pick up stick around and contribute. Many seasons he has been on the bubble but I keep finding reasons to keep him around. The best player left may be LF Elmer Stewart which is ironic because he is only around a result of a surprise qualifying offer agreement. I was guessing with his mood and demands he would scoff at it and I'd get my supplemental pick.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? As always I'll pick the Nationals until someone knocks them off. To catch them I need to be patient with this rebuild and not rush like I did the last one.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? Giants flip the script and get hot at the right time for a change, roll through the playoffs and knock off a better, but less lucky, Tigers team with in a wild, down to the wire, nail biting game 7.

1. What was your main goal this offseason? Add quality players, get younger, and reverse the culture of losing that killed this franchise in April and September. Launching our very first season at Pickard Field going 0-7 was embarrassing. This team got an earful of my best motivational speeches before Spring Training.
2. Did you accomplish it? We kicked off Spring Training going 0-7, but we bounced back the second week and went 2-4. I can tell the guys have been thinking about what I said.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team? SS Moromao Kogawa gave us two great seasons. He was signed as a placeholder but he anchored our infield with his glove and his bat. And I'll miss Alfredo Sanchez and Ramon Rojas, who were great contributors and key factors our championship season. I'll never forget those two bringing a poodle, a python, and ten pounds of cottage cheese into the locker room before we played San Diego. I can't tell you any more but it all came together for us after that.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year? We're all excited by what CF Alonso Castillo brings to this team. I hope he's here for a long time.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team? I honestly can't single out one player. This is a fun, dedicated and talented group.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top? This is the AL Central. Whoever wins, it won't surprise me. I'll tell you this, the Tigers are a great team but they have a target on their backs. Nobody in this division stays on top standing pat. I would like to see us get two teams into the playoffs. Once we accomplish that we'll go for three.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? This is a good year to take the field over the favorites. I'll take not-Milwaukee over not-Houston, unless not-Houston is Cleveland. Then it will be Cleveland over San Francisco because Cleveland is a better not-Houston than the Giants aren't Milwaukee.

1. What was your main goal this offseason?
Plug holes and trade off excess to keep the farm stocked.
2. Did you accomplish it?
No, not really. We added RP Francisco Hernandez and OF Hector Martinez for hole plugging, but they're just role players. With free agency thin and no clear deficiencies on the team I really needed to get creative on trades to get a significant upgrade. And I wasn't aggressive enough on the players I was trying to sell to move much there either.
On the plus side, we did get a late budget boost from our owner to surpass the Yankees for #1 in total budget for the first time. I have to find creative ways to beat Mac since he bailed on the NL South for the Evil Empire. It's kind of like a dog finally catching a car though. Unless we wanted to get in on the Bo Moore sweepstakes we didn't have a good enough reason to spend it in free agency. This may be the plot to Brewster's Millions 2.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team?
...Edgar Vega? We're pretty much running 2059 back and hoping the farm can offset everyone else aging. The last time Vega left Washington it was as part of the package that landed us Raymond Page. Vega had a solid career, and we were happy to have him back, but I'm gonna call that trade a win for us.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year?
SP Dan Gallaghe is the #2 overall prospect per the pitching aficionados at OSA, and has all the makings of an ace for years to come if his control comes along. The only question is where the "r" at the end of his last name went.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team?
Since the Chris Allen/Robin Johnson duo that got me started has retired now it's definitely Raymond Page. He's not the best player on the team anymore, but the man is ageless, is the heart and soul of our locker room, and is top 10 all-time on every counting stat leaderboard for hitters except for doubles last I checked. Yes, somehow the guy who averages under 2 SBs per year is top 10 for (PBL era) triples.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top?
We won the division by 19 games last year and return pretty much everyone, so hopefully us?
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction?
Rangers over Nats in 7. The building from within strategy has its day, and the team that's a little better than us at it gets the W.

1. What was your main goal this offseason?
Build a Top 5 Farm System trading talent I had on the major league team
2. Did you accomplish it?
I am currently 6th so got close but did pick up the #1 prospect in the PBL out of it
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team?
I didn't really grow attached to any of them - Of course Lopez was the hardest to trade away
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year?
No one this year - Monzaemon Inamura will be on of the few true rookies starting this year but should just be an average to below average 1B
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team?
I guess Jorge Moran and he is my best player. All my favorites are in the minors still
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top?
Houston and Texas is a coin flip - I will go with Texas by 1 game - I would need every team to trade me their best player for my worst to catch them right now
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction? Texas Vs. Milwaukee in 6 with Texas winning - Back up is Houston Vs. Mets in 7 with Houston winning

1. What was your main goal this offseason?
Heading into the offseason, there were three areas we wanted to address. On the starting pitching front, the bidding wars got too expensive for our taste so we focused on adding a utility infielder and OF depth against LHP.
2. Did you accomplish it?
2 out of 3 ain't bad right? We were able to add Antonio Aguilera to fill the super utility role and Gustavo Vega for OF depth against LHP. We'll see how Vega handles the role, but there are a few players at AAA that might get that opportunity at some point this season.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team?
Alfonso Vela, no doubt. Vela was part of the package to acquire Zack Davis from the Cubs, and is a good player. That being said, sometimes you have to deal from an area of depth and acquire a player that helps fill a void in another area. Definitely will be following Vela's career moving forward and hope he does well for the Cubs unless he's playing the Reds.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year?
There probably will end up being quite a few that get an opportunity this season, but I'll focus on a guy that will be breaking with the club 2B/LF Yoshitora Fujita. Fujita is never going to compete for batting titles, but each of the past two seasons in the minors he has over 31 HR each year. Fujita will provide OF depth and start at 2B against LHP.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team?
I really debated using 1B/2B Zack Davis because chicks dig the long ball and all (see I still was able to use that), but my favorite player right now is a tie between one hitter and one pitcher. Wilfred Vazquez is a player that just mashes RHP, plays elite defense in LF, and can steal a base at will. That being said, he's fragile so keeping him on the field was an issue in the minors. Vazquez has a chance to be a 25-25 guy and win a gold glove, if he does that a few times I'll be thrilled.
On the pitching side, SP Al Sackett is easily my favorite and...he's probably the best player on the team. Drafted in the 9th round of the 2055 Amateur Draft, Sackett already has a 10 rated change up and is still working on his 9 potential rated curve ball. Sackett is a guy that really got some big development boosts that I simply cannot take credit for, but is exactly the type of player I want to build my team around.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top?
Milwaukee will win the division this year, but the gap is beginning to shrink. I'm not going to say the Reds will win the division next year, but after 4 years of rebuilding we are starting to see our prospects reach the PBL.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction?
I'm going with Houston vs Washington, with the Astros winning in 6 games.

1. What was your main goal this offseason?
Our primary goal was to not do much of anything. The free agent market did not have much to offer, so despite having a strong cash balance we did not bid on many free agents. Our farm system is mediocre, so we did not want to trade prospects who currently are in our system. We decided to make some minor changes and press on.
2. Did you accomplish it?
We accomplished our goal. We did sign veteran Jorge Ramirez to mentor young Manny Ortiz and platoon at the catcher position. Also, we recently signed veteran Edgar Salazar to boost our outfield defense at both CF and enable Morihiro Tanaka to move to LF where he is an outstanding fielder.
3. Who are you going to miss the most off of last years team?
We will miss 2B Rory Strong. His contract extension demands were unreasonable. Then he refused to negotiate with us. Throughout his four seasons with the Giants his contributions were solid with consistent, reliable production. He could be depended upon to take the field every day. To fill the void, we will shift Kurt Wood, who has performed surprisingly well for us, from SS to 2B. In Wood's place at SS, slick fielding rookie Gabriel Beza will have an opportunity to play every day. Together, Wood and Beza should develop into an outstanding double play duo while flashing the leather around the second sack.
4. Which one rookie has the best chance to turn some heads for your team this year?
Beza has the best chance to turn heads with his defensive play. If he can demonstrate that he can hit PBL level pitching well, we will be in business. On the pitching staff, Tristan Donovan and Hung-Chang Wang each will have an opportunity to earn long term roles as members of the starting rotation.
5. Who is your favorite player on your team? Is he the best player on your team?
Undoubtedly, Enrique Vazquez is my favorite player of all time. At 39 years old, his 18 year career is nearing the end. His once electric stuff has faded. In the last few years his rate stats have suffered, but he is approaching 250 career wins. He has not yet pitched well this year, but he has a history of starting slowly in spring training. Hopefully he will pitch well enough to win nine games or more this season and help us make another run at a ring in the post season.
Walt Numbers would have to be considered the best player on the team. Numbers drove in over 100 RBI in each of the last three seasons while averaging just shy of 40 HRs per season and generating an OPS of over .900. In San Francisco, this level of production is very rare.
6. Who will win your division in 2060? What do you need to do to catch them or stay on top?
The Padres most likely will again win the division. However, if our bullpen can avoid the late inning melt-downs that doomed us last season we could finish on top. The D'backs also are a threat to win. The race should be another good one.
7. What is your 2060 PBL World Series prediction?
The Houston Astros will best the Milwaukee Brewers in six games.
