My team underperformed and so, while my owner bumped my budget by $4m, I'm nevertheless in a position where I need to sell off some pieces. With that in mind . . . Pete Gawley: Coming off an All-Star season where he won (or should win) the Silver Slugger, Gawley is an excellent hitting catcher with 7/7 fielding. I just signed him to a team-friendly contract. I really love him and I am technically capable of keeping him but I'd rather find him a good home.
Andrew Sodowsky: An excellent closer who pitched well for me. This is basically a sign-and-trade in that I'll be exercising his team option and then trading him to you. Which means that we'll have a bit of a time limit on the negotiations, so keep that in mind. Katsuyuk Johnson: I'm really fond of him, and I'm not going to get what he's worth. He's a high-intangible outfielder who murders lefties (OBP'd 439+ in each of the last two seasons against them). This last year he put up 2.8 WAR in only 250 PA (because I was platooning him), which makes him a freakishly valuable platoon bat.Bob Underwood: Underwood is a 2+ WAR player who can play both corner outfield and 2B capably. He's always underperformed a little bit but is nevertheless a quality utility player, for whom I am not asking much. I tend to be pretty quick to respond to trade offers. Maybe we'll work something out and maybe not, but I hope to be a good communicator about what I'm looking for and where we are in the negotiations. Shoot me a message if interested.
