1. Chris Levant (Phillies) - Between Chris and Erick for this awar, but Chris edges it thanks to a lack of 'human' competition in the NL West for Erick! Dumping Moyer for Oswalt and a poor spec was a great move.
2. Erick Blasco (Rockies) - An excellent year for the Rockies in the only close division in the NL. Getting Wandy Rodriguez very cheaply was a nice move. If this award was based on quality of writing and overall contribution to making this a great first year for the PBL Erick wins hands down
3. Adam Olson (Nats) - Has created one of the teams of the future with imaginative wheeling and dealing...should challenge the Phillies in the East next year

1) Erick Blasco (Rockies): Blasco was able to trump the collective NL West AI, but couldn't overcome the St. Louis ghost ship. Bargain basement acquisitions of Wandy Rodriguez, Matt Lindstrom, Derek Lowe, and Troy Glaus helped the Rockies coast into the postseason without the Rockies prize pitching prospects being sacrificed in the process.
2) Chris Levant (Phillies): Levant showed great imagination in acquiring Roy Oswalt---too bad Oswalt couldn't hold up his end of the bargain. Matt Thornton was a shrewd pick up, which greatly bolstered Philadelphia's bullpen.
3) Adam Olson (Nationals): Olson has stockpiled talent by trading away majors-ready talent for young prospects.
Washington acquired their future number two-pitcher (Jennry Mejia), future number three-pitcher (Jeremy Hellickson) future number four-pitcher (Arodys Vizcaino), future shortstop (Wilmer Flores), future right fielder (Jason Heyward), future catcher (Jesus Montero), and future third baseman (Brett Lawrie) all in preseason or in-season trades, supplementing an already deep farm system.
Plus, Olson acquired a guy in Nick Johnson who turned in one of the ten best single-season walk totals of all-time!

1. Erick Blasco COL - for not only getting the Rockies to the NLCS but for all he did on the boards for the PBL
2. Chris Levant PHI - good moves kept philies up to the mark
3. Adam Olsen NATS - seemingly has created a franchise that will challenge the yanks for years. How that pans out will determine whether he moves up the GM rankings or vanishes from trace
