1. Marvin Webb CF (Rays) - Doesn't show as being a 'qualified rookie' in the game - maybe he didnt start enough? Still, went from being a #16 draft pick to batting .439 in the post season!
2. Chris Carter 1B (A's) - Not many to choose from in AL Rookie catagory! - Carter only batted 0.216 in his first year, but the 23HRs gives him my vote at #2.
3. Daniel Schlereth MR (Angels) - Solid numbers for this first year relief pitcher

1) Marvin Webb (Rays): The new most exciting player in baseball. Jumping from a small college (Ball State) almost directly to the pros and having the impact he did is remarkable. When he becomes better at reading pitchers' movements, he's going to be an elite base stealer.
2) Desmond Jennings (Tigers) Had an OPS over .800 and stole 18 bases in only 62 games with Detroit.
3) Brian Dopirak (Jays): He may look like a mutant, but he mutated 23 pitches into home runs in his rookie year.

1. Marvin Webb (TBA) - This kid is going to be exciting to watch in the years to come. Called up to the bigs after only 3 minor league at bats and went on to post an .823 OPS and tear it up in the playoffs.
2. Desmond Jennings (DET)
3. Mark Melancon (NYY)
