1. Adam Wainwright, SP - St. Louis Cardinals -- Lead the NL in ERA, Wins and pitcher VORP. He finished second in innings pitched - by a third of an inning - to his teammate Chris Carpenter. He pitched to contact for most of the season, as evidenced by his FIP, but it worked for the Cardinals.
2. Tim Lincecum, SP - San Francisco Giants -- Hard to separate Lincecum and Wainwright. Lincecum has the better "stats" numbers and the Giants were a playoff team, so you definitely could make a case for him being #1. He was second in the NL in ERA, 1st in stirkeouts, 1st in FIP and 6th in innings pitched.
3. Jonathan Sanchez, SP - San Francisco Giants -- He could be the ace of the staff on almost any other team - well except for the Cardinals and a couple AL West squads, but he dominated as the #2 behind Lincecum this season. 5th in the NL in ERA, 3rd in FIP and 6th in VORP. It is a crime against humanity that the Giants didn't give him any run support and he finished 11-14 on the season.

1. A. Wainwright, St Louis - As ChiSox said it's almost impossible to separate #1 and #2, but Wainwright has the edge over Lincecum just.
2. T. Lincecum, San Francisco
3. C. Carpenter, St. Louis

1) Adam Wainwright (St. Louis): He lead the league in wins, ERA, and was excellent in the postseason. Wainwright got the job done more often than any pitcher in baseball.
2) Tim Lincecum (San Francisco): Lincecum's strikeout numbers are freakishly good, he also is tied with a host of pitchers for the league lead in WHIP, and he's second in ERA. If not for Lincecum's 1.78 ERA, the Giants would've completely dropped off the radar in August and not made the playoffs.
3) Chris Carpenter (St. Louis) Carpenter ties Lincecum in ERA and WHIP and has more wins. More strikeouts would've boosted him to number two.

1. Tim Lincecum (SF) - The K's and the FIP catch my eye here. Can't go wrong with him or Wainwright.
2. Adam Wainwright (STL)
3. Chris Carpenter (STL)

Not sure if I am allowed to vote for my own player or not but:
1. Adam Wainwright, just a slight edge over Lincecum for me
2. Lincecum if I can or Ricky Nolasco (Nolasco at 3 if I can vote Lincecum at 2)
3. (If needed) Chris Carpenter.
