Currently playoffs are in a fixed structure. Teams are seeded into a fixed bracket and we proceed from there. Should we modify the seedings so match ups are redetermined after each round so that the highest remaining seed plays the lowest remaining seed?
Proxy votes will be cast to Yes.
75% is needed to alter this rule.

What exactly are we voting for here?
Ensuring that the if both wildcard teams win that they would be reseeded? Basically ensuring the higher wild card would play the #2 team rather than the #1?
I can understand some of the ideas behind reseeding after the wildcard round to ensure what I described above, but I don't think the wild card teams should ever get home field unless they are playing the other wild card team in the championship series.

This is really about round 2. At the point we get to to championship series there are two teams left so the matchup is set and the higher seeded team will get home field. Currently the playoff bracket is fixed. The 1 seed faces the winner of the 4 vs 5. The 2 seed faces the winner of 3 vs 6. So when the 6 seed wins the 2 seed gets the theoretically easier matchup by facing the 6 seed. If this passes, the 1 seed will always plays the lowest remaining seed in round 2. Does that answer the question?

Yep, that does answer my question.
Thanks!

P.S. further clarification. Division winners get seeds 1-4. Wild cards are seeds 5-6 regardless of record. The only way a wild card team could get home field is if both wild cards get to the championship round. That is the case regardless of if this poll passes or not.
