I first want to say that there's been a reason that my articles for the PBL have gone down over the past few seasons...but it's for a good reason! I started writing about real baseball again! This past weekend I went down to Memphis to cover the Cardinals AAA affiliate the Redbirds. I was able to get a few minutes with catcher Carson Kelly. Kelly is considered to be the top catching prospect in the minors right now and heir apparent to Molina for the Cardinals. I've never had it this long before but it was getting to that point of either shaving/trimming it way down or just growing it out. I had always just trimmed it down in the past but figured this time why not grow it out? |
