I never really paid attention in the past to what it was or if it changed.
I'm wondering if it changes every few seasons. Or if there are settings to freeze it or allow it to change. Last year, according to the game, we brought in 43.75. Thats the same for this season, and the same for the next 2 seasons in game. Our National Media budget is 18.750. With a market size of Rather big, great loyalty and fan interest, im wondering why it seems so low....
Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows much about this stuff......

Looking at the League financial report, the Orioles are 10th in Media revenue which does seem fair. The Yankees are more then double then 20+ teams.
Anyway, looking at that report, i've answered my own question. I see teams with different amounts of media revenue last year and this year..... so it clearly does change

I stand to be corrected of course. National media, unless specified as same for every market, will fluctuate based on market size (according to the manual). In MLB, Yankees always have an obscene number. This is "contract" based, in that the amount of your national media is based on a certain number of years in the back end of the game, then a new contract term and amount is "signed/determined". So it will fluctuate, but not year to year instead contract to contract term. Local media is the other component and frankly not sure if the market also dictates that number. Logic might suggest its based, at least in part, on your fanbase? It will fluctuate in the same way as it too is based on a number and contract term. So every few years (depending on the terms and when they lineup or overlap) your media number will change a bit. The pic above is from the team financial settings and they are essentially different for each team. Btw, this was from a quickly generated TEST league. Only the Commissioner (or those with Commissioner priv) would have access or be able to see this in-game of course.Oh, and it's always good to be the Yankees!
