I don't really know how to begin. For some reason, over the last two sims, the AI has released every single prospect in my Rookie League pool, and then some. 149 prospects have been cut from my system including most of my draft picks from the last two drafts. Clearly this hasn't happened to everyone else. It may be that if your rookie league goes over a certain size the AI just flips out. I don't know, but i know equally that a) I didn't cut them and b) I sure as hell want them back. Do I have any recourse, is there any way to make that happen? I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I don't really know how this happened.
Thanks to Texas for pointing this out.

What are you control & auto play settings? This was a big in the latest patch (17.10.65) which is why we didnt update.

Ugh, just getting home, long long night, but whatever...
OOTP update 17.10.65 broke the game. Prospects seemed to be randomly released from clubs. I advise everyone to check. No excuse in my opinion for this. Laziness on the part of OOTP.
Looks like they released a fix this morning in update 17.10.67. Lets hope it fixes this problem, and doesn't cause any new ones.
As for any way to fix, there really are only two options. You right click each player and sign them to a mlc, with hopefully, noone trying to steal your prospects, or or commish manually edits them onto your R team....

Id suggest funding any that are actually good and requesting they be edited back.... As a commish if someone asks me to put back 170 prospects im not interested in doing that (i have no life and nothing but time unlike derek who has a life and no time) ie... Dont ask for a 24 year old reliever who has a 5 era in rookie ball to be added back type of thing. Just my opinion... If Derek hasnt patched (if he did you cant load the game in 17.9.60) then you must have AI control on for releasing players, because that version didnt have the issue of releasing players..

The right click offer of an MLC will save alot of time and effort provided we all leave the effected prospects alone. After that, any stragglers, hopefully no more then a handful, can be edited where they need to be

Yes but others can sign them which is the problem with the scenario

I have AI control on none of it; I checked. I'll hunt down what I can and give the commish a list of those that have been signed by other teams. >.<

I just ran a test on my league with 17.10.67, and no prospects were released. So it appears they have fixed it

Wow. This blows. I went through the teams and checked. The only other team that seems to have a similarly bizarre series of demotions and releases is Detroit with a total of 53 guys dropped from the minors. So the Tigers owner might want to double check who'd been released.

Note to self (at work and not in front of game until later tonight): APPLY HOTFIX BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE.

Good find. Anthony is right it would take forever for me to manually assign over 100 players back to your team. I would suggest signing each player you want back to a MLC and if ANY player is signed away by another organization -OR- refuses to sign, send me a list of names and I will manually put those players back for you.
A little bit of work for you so I apologize for any inconvenience. I'm willing to help in any way I can.
