If teams do not like the idea of 26 roster spots then why haven't we eliminated the 40-man in September? People are against it because it makes the game easier. At a gut level, we've all had to make the agonizing decision about who to send through waivers and who to keep on the roster coming out of ST. It forces us to make a decision on whether to carry that guy who can hit but only defend one or two positions or the utility guy who can cover the whole infield. It makes the 12 or 13 pitchers question matter.

Angels said it well. Extra injuries adds realism, depth and activity. Extra roster spot adds simplicity, goes away from realism and (IMO) wouldn't help trading as you have less players you need to make tough decisions over. 26 players you want and can't send down? Keep them all, one less needed to trade.
Strong yes to upping injuries and (less) strong no to upping roster size from me.

I vote no on increasing injuries but I agree with Rob - we need something to shake things up just noticed my previous post - I left out an important word! "I usually vote no on increasing injuries but I agree with Rob - we need something to shake things up." Would also love to see the 'no stars' setting but almost certain that won't have much support. As or the 26 man roster - it doesn't feel like a big deal either way to me.

Draft order - Where can I find a list of which team owns each pick, especially the first rounders?
I am negotiating a potential deal that would involve one or two 1st round picks. However, with the exception of the draft lottery results, I can not locate the draft order. The prior season stats have been erased from view in preparation for the new season. The in-game draft order is not available.
Before I make a deal involving a 1st round pick, I would like to verify the ownership and order of the pick(s). Where can I find a list, even a starting point created before considering draft pick trades that have been posted? Am I missing something obvious?
Given that one of the desired outcomes we have been discussing is increased trading, it seems that we should maintain a list of the draft order for easy reference.

The in-game one should be fine, with the exception of any lottery changes.
PBL Menu, transactions, draft order tab

PBL Menu, transactions, draft order tab I had been trying the PBL Menu >> League Info >> Draft Order path and the Draft Order option had been greyed out. It seems that effective with the last sim both paths now are available for viewing.
With the exception of lottery adjustments and draft pick trades I (we) should have a pretty good list to use for reference. Thanks, Rob.
