Does anybody have a copy of the 2016 budgets. Didn't realize how quickly OOTP turns over new budgets so I don't have them on hand.
Worst case scenario is I have 2015 budgets but not sure if every team is precise.

Once I have this, I'm going to fix each teams budget to match last season. There will be no decrease this season since there was no notice. Then I'll post file and we will do Rule-V Draft tomorrow.
Teams will need to PM me their lists. As usual, expect some names to be pulled back last minute but there is really nothing we can do about that.

You can see any team from their Front Office page, just hover the mouse over the budget graph on the graphs tab and the tooltip shows the amount.

What about next season? Will each team be responsible for monitoring their revenue and anticipating that they might lose budget money?

As usual, expect some names to be pulled back last minute but there is really nothing we can do about that. 1) after this sim, gm's export with rule 5 set 2)tomorrow you import all files and then release a new file 3)Wed do not take any exports, run draft just saying...

Pretty sure we haven't made any major budget changes since the 2014 season.
ARI- 84.50 ATL- 135.80 BAL- 113.80 BOS- 181.6 CAR- 115.00 CWS- 122.00 CHC- 165.40 CIN- 106.60 CLE- 105.80 COL- 131.65 DET- 148.80 HOU- 113.23 KC- 97.06 LAA - 113.18 LAD- 127.00 MIA- 77.80 MIL- 129.90 MIN- 126.60 NYY- 210.30 NYM- 146.20 OAK- 93.00 PHI - 161.90 PIT- 84.10 POR- 140.00 SD- 81.30 SF- 120.40 SEA- 182.97 STL- 125.10 TB- 108.40 TEX- 116.80 TOR- 81.60 WAS- 99.10
Got these from the budget graphs under financials within the game. And for what it's worth, I think we should let the game handle these from now on. With the "misc. expenses" and the more reasonable budget additions, it seems like budgets are not GROWING out of control. Shrinking budgets are what is needed for the league (to cut down on the FA cash festivals; looking at your Josh Johnson).
EDITED FOR CORRECT 2015* values!!!
*The OOTP financial year starts RIGHT after the World Series. So the 2016 budget is the budget for the 2017 season.

Sucks to have your budget decreased without any notice doesn't it? Don't understand why this is a problem, when we changed everything around cause the game wouldn't adjust budgets a few seasons ago. Does that mean we won't get budget increases too? Especially since more voted against, even though it was only 1 vote, just saying...

Does that mean we won't get budget increases too? Especially since more voted against, even though it was only 1 vote, just saying... Actually was a few votes in the end, a couple of those saying keep to 2016 changed their vote in the discussion part of the thread making it quite clear that the vote was to keep the in-game budgets.

Sucks to have your budget decreased without any notice doesn't it? Don't understand why this is a problem, when we changed everything around cause the game wouldn't adjust budgets a few seasons ago. Does that mean we won't get budget increases too? And this is what I'm talking about. All the budget moves made this season (and the complaints) have seemed pretty valid to me. It wouldn't be quite fair, if teams that had budgets reduced got a free pass this season (for either mismanagement or the game FINALLY correcting the market), and the teams that earned an increase lose theirs. You can't do one or the other either... GMs are going to be upset by budget cuts, but it's part of the game. SD received no adjustments to budget, so I can at least be partially unbiased here. However, as THE small market team in the league, I will admit that I would love to see some budgets come down to a more realistic level (with the misc. expenses and draft expenses taken into account, my budget of 79.9 allows for a player payroll of about 60M... and that's with NOTHING going into player development). I was ranked something like 6th in Cash per Win last season... so yeah... I would love to see the finances balanced out a bit more.

Thats the changes made for this season. I know i was higher than 116 last year. Right. Maybe I did get a slight budget cut then. EVEN SO, I still say we keep 'em. I'll edit those in a second.

In real life you have more interaction with your owner. You have an idea what your budget will be the following year a lot sooner than OOTP tells us. I think its only fair to give everyone a year to be able to get to their budget numbers.

I think its only fair to give everyone a year to be able to get to their budget numbers. So the despite of the poll, we are going to use a system that is created by the commish and we are going to abandon the part of the game that actually started correcting things that a few seasons earlier we wished it did?
