I am making some changes on the boards to try and organize things a bit more. Here are the changes that I made:
* moved all older articles, news, trades, questions, etc into the appropriate ARCHIVE thread.
* created another category called 'PBL Gaming Commission' where I will include new folders for each new game we create.
* moved 'Fact or Fiction' under 'PBL Gaming Commssion' because I really like the idea of this game. In fact, its something I was trying to implement in another league a long time ago. There seems to be a lot of willing participants so I was thinking that we could have these debates, and create a poll under it and let league vote on who won debate and we can award the winner with a cash prize.
* created a thread called 'Headline News' and listed it directly under 'General Talk' so all team articles, etc are easily accessible without scrolling down the board.
* relocating 'Promotions' under the new 'PBL Gaming Commssion' thread since this will be a product of that department from now on.
* will move 'PBL Press Release' into a sub-category under the 'General' thread.
* deleting the category 'Media Outlet' since all three sub-forums have been moved for better access.
* deleting the 'League Voting' category as well since this will now be done in StatsLab
* changed name of 'League Office' to 'Owners Portal' and merged the 'League Office' and 'GM Info' category into one.
That is it on the forums for now - once I complete these changes, I will use this thread for StatsLab discussions which I am going to mention to everyone as well.

quick side note: Tampa I hope I didn't hijack your game, and your okay with this idea. If not I can move it out of the gaming department.

I am going over StatsLab utilities one at a time. Looking over All-Star Voting, which will be done here for now on (StatsLab also shows which owners voted or not). Wanted to get opinions on these setting options. What should we set it at?

This is the beauty of StatsLab, once the settings are in place it will filter out all the players who Qualify and give a list that looks like this:

With the all star stuff, I think we can be a little bit liberal since we'll vote out players who are unqualified anyway. 2.5 MPA sounds okay and 3.65 innings (300 per half season) are each high enough to disqualify bench players or players who don't actually play the position they're listed as, while leaving pretty much every single starter eligible. They'd also allow certain players to be eligible for multiple positions (like Ian Stewart who plays some 2B and has great numbers for a 2B while putting up decent numbers for a 3B).
I guess for pitchers, 0.8 and 0.4 sound like good starting points. Relievers will go about 30 innings a half with some grace time for injuries, while starters will be able to give about 60 innings.
Do these suggestions make sense?

It does make sense to me. Want to be able to reward players who do play more than one position. Not sure how I would put those numbers into the settings. How would you break those down?

StatsLab was taken down to clean up a few files - have no fear it will be back up soon.

Also, I removed the images folder for now, I think everybody has a copy of it on their computer and it takes up a huge amount of space on the server. If anyone needs it, I can re-post it until your done.

Commish, once you are in game click on "OOTP" in the upper left hand corner, then click on game setup, then click on the player and picture option tab, then click on update/generate player pictures. The game will then update the pics. Afterwards, put the file up as usual and everyone will have the new pics once they download the file in game. You won't have to use up the forum space. Hope this helps. I didn't.. Not 100% sure how to update it yet.. someone tell me how and I can do a new update and leave it on boards for a week to allow everyone time to download.
