We got verbal commitments from all but the follow 4 teams.
Baltimore Orioles
Chicago Cubs
Minnesota Twins
Milwaukee Brewers
We really need to move forward and I am a bit confused since Baltimore exported, Twins logged on to boards yesterday but yet to reply to anything, Cubs are nowhere to be found and Brewers last logged on 11/28 but yet to talk to them or respond to roll call.
Here is what I'm going to do:
1) Cubs are the one that seems 100% gone not on boards, no exports etc in quite some time. I went ahead and found a very good replacement. Some of you might know him ;D
2) Orioles have been lacking on boards but they did send in an export so I am going to assume they are on board, even though I'd like to see some activity on forums to know he is around.
3) Twins have not exported since 9/26 in game but he has been on boards as recently as yesterday.
4) Brewers have not exported since 10/3 and has not been on boards in 6 days.
I have a very eager newbie GM who is really looking to get into the league and has been following for some time. If I had to guess, I am assuming that the Brewers are most likely gone so I am going to award the Brewers to him (his name is Kyle) on an interim basis.
Kyle is willing to come on board and handle the GM duties for the Brewers and if Milwaukee shows up he is willing to relinquish the duties (think 2006 Red Sox when Theo left team and Hoyer/Cherrington became Co-GM's).
If this happens, Kyle will be awarded the next open franchise.
Like I said before, really confused as MIN, MIL and CHC are all original owners and I don't like losing them or giving away their team but I think everyone had enough time and we do need to move forward.
I am always willing to give any of these guys an open franchise if it becomes available but right now we need to do what's best for the league.
