I simmed through Salary Arbitration and award winners but I did not release the file. I still need to adjust the budgets. I'll get that done today at some point and then release the file.
I want to give people time to go over the file so we will officially be under way on Tuesday night. When thinking about it, I just don't feel comfortable loading file last night and simming today, I think a little notice is necessary but file will be up later today and take solace in knowing nothing can slow us down from this point on.
Thanks for hanging tight. I know the start of the off-season the past 2 seasons seem a bit rough but its critical to make sure we are set up properly and ready to go.

Awesome! The only good news from a terrible day of football, for me at least.

File is up... First week of free agency is tomorrow night. I think we are going to go 1 week at a time for the first 4 weeks of free agency then jump it up to 2 weeks per sim.

In 2014 budget was $115,880,000 and in 2015 you received a spike of $10m in incentives to bring your budget to $125,880,000 - where it currently stands. Am I not seeing something that you are? If anyone has questions, I can still fix it while we sim but I need to understand where its wrong.

I also lost about $10 million right at the end of the year. It isn't a huge deal for me, but I definitely had money disappear without warning just as the season ended.

We all did, and it is probably due to the fact that we have 10 million in player development and/or bonus incentives added in. Seattle has 20 million in player development and they are about 10 million more than everybody else who had 10 million in player development, so we all took a hit across the board and the only reason we didn't know it is because we aren't use to factoring in player development money.

yeh mine went down quite a lot, but ie been a big salary team for a while and am thinking about getting more into rebuilding so it shouldnt hurt the Ms too much... I hope the Int FAs brought return tickets.
Great to have a sim ... I'm going to write the top 10 FAs article tomorrow.

Worst class of international free agents I seen since I been toying around with OOTP12! What a surprise though but lets hope that means we get a good draft class.
The $$ each team uses for player development can be changed by the owner but ONLY during preseason.

If i have a payroll of 121.7 million, and a budget of 125 million. Shouldn't I have 3 million available for free agents?

No, because that 125 million budget includes draft and player development costs. You can reduce the player development costs down to $5 million saving you $5 million, but still need to cut costs further to get under budget.
