This might be a stupid question, but I'm on edge because I'm away from my computer today. Will we have a chance to move guys around before tomorrow night's Sim and still keep them on minor league deals and not use up an option year?

So we do not have to set our 25 man roster prior to tonight's sim, am I correct? We set our 25 man after tonight's sim?

Now how many days are you going to be simming? Are you simming over 14 days? Because then wouldn't players placed on waivers today, make it through the 14 day waiver period? If so, doesn't this make it so people will be able to put people on waivers without the possibility of them being claimed? Just a thought

I'm a little confused. I still have guys I want to play in Spring Training and if we sim up until opening day, that means I have to take them out before tonights sim right? Or they will end up with ML contracts if we go passed spring training.
Pretty much what I'm asking is, I know you can demote guys with minor league contracts during ST and they will keep a minor league contract. So with that known, can I keep those guys in for tonights sim and still be able to demote them before ST so they still have minor league contracts.
I have to leave by 4PM, hopefully somebody knows, so I can export. Thanks!

Don't know exactly what the situation is, but can we keep tonight's sim in ST so that those who want to train players and specs at certain positions can still play? I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes ST for that reason. Then we could set 25 man's for tomorrow and still sim through WSH/ATL game. It's the best of both worlds.

To my knowledge, you'll be able to send people down after this sim. No reason to delay things another day here.

Okay, I will leave players in then. They better be able to be sent down without getting a Major League contract though. That wouldn't be cool at all.

We are currently on 3/22 in game date. Opening Day is set for 4/7.
This is what I am going to do....
I am simming the rest of Spring Training all the way through 4/5 in-game date. I am extending the DFA time to go over this sim length by 2 days so it will allow teams to place claims on players who are on waivers. Nobody will be passing through and beating the system.
In the game there is no 'sim to end of Spring' type thing so I am Assuming all Minor League contracts will be stay the same until Sunday 4/7 which is officially Opening Day.. This is why I am only simming until 4/5. This will allow teams to set their 25-man rosters and export tomorrow night and we can still have Opening Day.
**WARNING** The only negative about being this close to Opening Day is if someone doesn't export then you face me having to set your 25-man roster. Not too bad since you will have Sunday night to do it since everyone else has Opening Day on Monday. Problems come in if players refuse to be demoted or need to be placed on waivers. I can only go by my opinion and I can't spend a ton of time trying to guess what each team would do.
