Submit your votes for this season's opening night matchup! The opening day game will take place the Sunday before the first week in its own separate opening day event! And you decide what game you want to see!

I think Rockies-Dodgers and Nats-Braves are easily the two most exciting matchups on the card with maybe, Boston-Baltimore third.

I voted for Bal-Bos because I want to see Josh Johnson as he was the biggest acquisition for any of those teams (plus I wanna see what I gave away lol)

I voted for Bal-Bos because I want to see Josh Johnson as he was the biggest acquisition for any of those teams (plus I wanna see what I gave away lol) Interesting rationale, yet more than plausible. At first I thought the votes strictly belonged to the Commish and Baltimore's GM! I voted for Dodgers-Rockies for a few reasons. The obvious reason is that I'm Colorado's GM and have a good team. However, this is the only game pitting two playoff teams from last season. A World Series representative is involved, and with Ubaldo Jimenez traded away, many feel the Dodgers are the new class of the NL West. I do like the Nats-Braves game as two of the up-and-coming teams in the PBL. At least by default, any of these games will be better than last season's game-selected Baltimore-Toronto matchup.... Also, after a month and a half of trial and error, I've finally finished the NL schedules! I've changed the collective bargaining agreement slightly to allow teams to play 21 straight games and not just 20. Without such a provision I'd have to design these schedules all over! The two biggest NL Games to open next season...Dodgers-Rockies and Nats-Braves. This was determined weeks before the game chose those matchups for THIS year's opening week of baseball!

I picked the Sox-Orioles game and my reasons are threefold: 1. Two teams that should be in the hunt for the AL East title (fingers crossed). 2. You will have the reigning AL Cy Young winner in Lester versus the Orioles' biggest off-season acquisition in Josh Johnson. 3. I manage one of the two teams. btw....I thought last year's opening day game was superb and Chris Tillman agrees with me.

I am sick and tired of all this Boston coverage...first ESPN, then PBL? When will it end?

Went with Boston-Baltimore.
No love for Tampa-Toronto in the battle of the best vs the worst from last season??

anything not East Coast - sick of ESPNs regional bias.

San Diego @ Houston? Come on, there better be a good reason for somebody to pick that game.

anything not East Coast - sick of ESPNs regional bias. I know. Colorado was only part of Kenny's PBL Pick'Em twice last season! The Rockies get no coverage despite their dominance
