I'm surprised I won out on Scott Kazmir, I'm also surprised at the contract Sean Rodriguez got, I was nowhere near that.

wow, a few staggering contracts for pretty poor players.
Phillies, you know there's no DH in the NL? Weeks $60m contract, Utley $51.75m contract, $19m Howard contract all in the same week?

Kazmir was unbelievably unlucky after I signed him for the Mariners last year (3-10 with the 2nd lowest era in my rotation?!) $7m a year without having to give up a draft pick looks quite reasonable imo.

The Pacific Coast League has gone on without an All-Star Game the past few seasons. Is there anything that could be done to set that up?

Also, lets vote on which game we want as our opening night game.
Only factoring last season's playoff teams, this year's options are:
Boston @ Baltimore Texas @ Oakland Minnesota @ Chicago Tampa Bay @ Toronto Atlanta @ Washington Arizona @ St. Louis Los Angeles @ Colorado

You know...when coming up with this damn schedule, I try to be perfect in regards to teams avoiding games the next day if they have to travel across a different time zone. Then I see this game generated schedule and see myself playing in Atlanta one day and in Colorado vs. the Yankees the next? At Washington, home vs. the Phillies the day after? At Arizona then at Pittsburgh?
My players need to file a grievance with the players union!
