In 2012 the Florida Marlins will officially be known as the Miami Marlins as they enter into a new stadium as well. So now that we are entering the 2013 season in the PBL, the Marlins will now be known as the Miami Marlins. Lets hope with this change in name, it will be consistency to a franchise that has lacked it since the inception of the PBL.

I'm all for the name change. I'm also all for editing a nickname for Starlin Castro so he becomes known as Starlin "The Marlin" Castro.

LOL!
Can we make a new stadium in game and increase my fan interest to boot?
I think that'd be pretty damn cool.
Also, do I need to change my handle?

I am willing to put the new Miami Ballpark in the game, it will be one of the 3 smallest stadiums in the league and I think its going to hold 1000 less than the current stadium. A quick link to Miami Ballpark: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_Ballpark

Thats pretty cool I'm all for that. I love as much realism as I can get.
I don't mind the reduction in seating capacity if I can get a raise in fan interest.

Nice logo and nice stadium! As the Yanks are obviously in terminal decline, can I have a shiny new stadium & logo?

You just got yours!
I was planning on doing a logo and uniform change for 2013, but never got around to it... is this possible for us to do at all Derek? Will you allow such cosmetic changes?
My main hangup on the logo is the league uses the circular set. Very hard to emulate, and it will piss me off if they all don't match up.

Bump, figured I better bring this up since the season is getting close.
Sounded like in the thread Erick created that most were in agreement that a fan interest increase was the most appropriate measure for bringing in realism of the new stadium.
Just thought I would bring this up so we can get it taken care of (I am clearly the most invested in its execution lol).

You'd probably want this to happen opening day. That way you get the full effect.
Who cares about spring training attendance?

So when can I move to San Jose? Oakland is too dirty.

So when can I move to San Jose? Oakland is too dirty. with a united and motivated movement of A's fans like these two it'll never happen: www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlTvSUCCqPonot even going to comment on the 'too dirty' remark. Keep the A's in Oakland!
