Voting is closed.. Votes have been put into a spreadsheet and now its time to tally the winners...
For the record, I put every vote into a spreadsheet and many of these awards I have NO CLUE who is going to win until I add them up because they are so close it seems..

Zambrano got one?! Thats got to be worth the $19m contract option he just picked up - whilst sitting on the DL for 7 months!

I like that no team has more than one.

Yadier Molina was so good that nobody ran on him at all. He deserves the Gold Glove for Catchers. I'd have given the Gold Glove to Brandon Phillips, but Emilio Bonifacio is a good choice. Ryan Zimmerman should have been the 3B winner. If you add up Carlos Gonzalez' stats across each outfield position, he blows Upton out of the water. Colin DeLome got jobbed of a Gold Glove. Only Hicks, Pujolz, Escobar, and maybe Haeger were accurately chosen in my opinion.

Then maybe you should respect Albert and spell his name properly! No Z... Just kidding.. I do not pick Gold Glove Winners so your opinions are welcomed... lol...
By the way, Derek Jeter doesn't deserve it every year either, Gold Glove is a wasted award!
In regards to Delome, if a player does well in Houston, is there anyone watching to notice?

It seems like the AI picks players randomly though. Then again Rafael Palmeiro won a gold glove playing something like 30 games at first base one year.

The beauty of awards is the discussion because looking over all the stats you could argue that yes, Zimmerman should of won it at 3B but then someone can definitely argue for Chisenhall as well...

You want to talk about getting jobbed, how about Matzek not winning the AL ROY unanimously?

Somebody must've based their vote strictly on Revere's awesome playoff campaign. But yes, this is inexcusable. Matzek will be a Hall of Fame pitcher by the time his career is done. Mark my words.
