Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? I feel relief pitching depth is more important than ever now. Not sure if that came about through any changes with 23 or if it was just my evolution in roster building.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? I added 3 pitchers I am very excited about. Traded for Starter Pablo Encarnacion and signed free agent relievers Javier Avila and Martin Correa. This fills in the weak spots we had and gives us a deep and formidable pitching staff. In addition I added the big bat this lineup needed to go along with all of my young hitters with the signing of Luis Hernandez.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? My great young prospects Jose Guillen, Guillermo Rodriguez, Ramon Salinas and Jose Betencourt are now all in the majors and have each experienced some success already. This upcoming season they will be more developed and should start establishing themselves as All-Star caliber players.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
The New York Yankees will win the AL East.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
Who else but the Red Sox! It started with Babe Ruth and will continue as long as baseball is being played.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
Pitcher Gordon Roberge is the PBL's top prospect with off the chart potential. I was thrilled to grab with the #2 pick overall last season and expect him to be ready as early as 2066.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
This is a very young team that is a few years away from reaching any notable milestones. That being said Luis Hernandez is 47 homers from 300 and Jose Ruiz is 7 saves from 300
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? Got to believe in myself, this is what we have been slowly building up to - so I am predicting the Yankees over the Dodgers in 7.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization?
I don't think so?
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
Well, on the batting side, I lost three all-star level players. But on the pitching side, I replaced two sub-replacement level SPs. I think both will make big impacts, in opposite directions.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
Having had the full offseason to tighten things up. I was actually able to execute trades this time (as much because I'm in a better place than I had been) so I feel a greater degree of ownership over this roster. I suppose Milwaukee has managed to become almost a rebuilding team, albeit a rebuilding team that may well win 80+ games. It should be fun.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
Cincinnati.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
The years of Shane being my biggest rival are past, for the most part. I'd love to say Sean, but he and I are like the sun and the moon. At times in the sky, at times below the horizon, never competing at the same time.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
Well, Mike Vega is definitely coming up this year, and that should be good fun.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
No idea. It's not something I really pay attention to. We can't all have Duane Hansens . . .
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
I'll take a Shane/Sean rematch please!

Spring Training is here and it's that time of the year to tell the PBL about your team and the moves you made during the off-season!
Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? Nope!
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? Money, Money, Money!! We're finally free of albatrosses and had almost no money tied up anymore. My top prospects aren't quite ready, so I'm using the flush of cash to shore up positions and the rotation in the short term. I'm excited to have 2B Spencer Simmons from the Rule V draft and OF Ricardo Rosales at the top of the lineup to grind through pitchers and get on base for McBryde.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? As my owner so formally puts it, we may not suck completely! I'm aiming for maybe a .500 record, with a decent offense and an improved rotation and bullpen, I'm hoping to get close to .500 again.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? I think Montreal is going to sneak in and grab the division this year.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? The Mets are usually who I'm out to beat. With different GM's and my recent seasons being pretty bad, I doubt I'm theirs.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? 22 year old Chris Smolinski, the #39th top prospect will likely be in the rotation this season. He got a trial in 6 starts at the end of last season and pitched okay. #87 prospect SP Jesus Martinez will likely be up in the next season or 2 as well. My other two potential aces Bryan Porter and Alfredo Quintana are a little further off.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
1B Tsuginori Kakuta is 29 HR away from 400. 1B/DH Joe Tearlach is 15 hits away from 1000. Most importantly, 3B Bill McBryde may get his 100th HR before he turns 25.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
Montreal over the Yankees in 7

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? I am shell shocked after last season. Pretty much everyone under-performed, some badly. Only old warhorse Joe McGee played well. Why? What does any of it mean? I just try to add better players and hope for the best.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
See the above. I was starting to get excited about SS Daniel Jones. Ruptured Achilles. 'Nuff said. The good news, nobody's tripped over their dog. Yet.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
Cleveland almost has to improve on last year's record. The Baseball Odds are with us and we really do have nowhere to go but up.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
Detroit.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
Who is the Washington Generals' biggest rival? Who is a speed bag's biggest rival? Next question.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
Most of Cleveland's "Top Prospects," are pitchers but the pitchers on the list come and go. I expect some of them will be good, but I have no idea which ones. Not many batters on the list. At the moment last year's first round pick, CF Ramon Murillo, has the best shot at a decent ML career. He has a "No dog" clause in his contract.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
Cleveland is a young team so there's not much on that front. Alonso Castillo should register his 1000th hit in the second half of the season. Everyone else is shooting for their first 100 of something.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? A WS rematch seems likely. The Astros will flip the script with the seventh game going 20+ innings.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization?
No, I haven't really focused enough on the changes in 23 to factor them into my decision making yet.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
My first order of business as a new GM was to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the organization, and formulate a plan to address them. We need to increase our offensive output, so I planned on making a run at signing Luis Hernandez - until the moneybags from NY staked a claim to him. Plan B was signing Edgar Soto, who will anchor the batting order and provide some needed leadershipt to the team. We also needed upgrades at 3B and C. Not much in the FA market to address either need, but we signed 3B Dave Flynn and 4 catchers who will compete for the starting job. Augustin Colon will add depth to an OF that needs some help too. We were 5th in the Offseason WAR added, so I think we'll see some modest improvement this year - shooting for a .500+ season.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
A couple of things - first, winning the draft lottery by getting the #2 pick; second, promoting 2 way SP/DH Jim Young to the major league roster to see what he can accomplish.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
Going to go with Houston, but Tampa Bay could make a run too.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
Beats me, I'm new here.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
I know 2-way players can be hard to manage, but I think Jim Young will make a good contribution to the squad, more as a hitter than as a pitcher. I also think Chad Hurst is almost ready to join the major league rotation, probably this season.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
Soto should reach 1,000 RBIs and 1,000 runs this year.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
Cincinatti over the Yankees.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization?
I have to pay attention to make sure the AI doesn't kill my minor league pitchers by letting them throw 147 pitches, but otherwise my approach stays pretty much the same.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
There's never really any change in Washington is there? We didn't really gain or lose anyone of note, which is par for the course sans Raymond Page retiring a couple years back. I am hopeful we can call up Francisco Lafrosia to give a spark to an outfield that hasn't been all that impressive in recent years.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
It might be the last ride for the current core. Jose Varquez, Aureliano Cervantes, Gerald Callahan, Julian Robles, Kelly Nunez, Clyde Walmsley, and Ismael Garcia have all been here since 2057 or earlier, and none of them are under contract for next year.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
The Marlins took us to the brink last year, but we were statistically better and improved the bullpen from atrocious to mediocre, so I think we have one more in us.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
As everyone knows the answer is San Diego and yes.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
I mentioned Lafrosia above, but Charlie Linttell is a pretty good SP prospect that I have penciled into the rotation as early as next year.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
After being on Raymond Page watch for seemingly forever none of these milestones seem very exciting. Varquez will probably get to 400 HRs and maybe 2,500 hits if he's on fire. Callahan is one hit from 2,500 himself. Doesn't have the same ring as 2,500 RBIs or 4,000 hits though.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
Reds-Astros is boring, but probably correct. Astros in 6.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization?
Kind of in a round about way. The conversion to 23 was extremely generous to my pitchers. Pretty much every move I have made since the conversion has been focused on improving the hitting at all levels of the organization.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
The putrid 2064 offense required a complete overhaul and as a result only 4 batters are returning to their spot in the lineup. The new and improved Marlines lineup features FA acquisitions Norberto Reyes and Murai Kimura. Top hitting specs Emiliano Girometta and Greg Milligan have both looked great and both appear to be ready to compete for Rookie Of The Year honors. Even the DH platoon of White and Yan were both in AAA last season and by all appearances appear to be a significant upgrade in power and average.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
See above. It should be fun to watch the squad score some runs for a change.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
Well, no disrespect intended but I do not think it will be Atlanta or Carolina. I've been chasing the Nationals forever and I may have finally caught up to them. They took the division last season on literally game 162. But that was kind of flukey. Marlins had more wins than they deserved and Nats had less. On paper I really like the changes Marlins have made and I think we have a good shot at the division. Still, Nats are the kings until they get dethroned. I'll pick Washington.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
Nope, we've covered this. Nats are the target but not enough success on the Marlins side to make it mutual.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
The time is hopefully now for previously mentioned Girometta and Milligan. Additionally we have two rotation arms that will start the season in AAA. Drew Griggs still looks like he could be the staff ace. We are officially concerned about Jimmy Humphrey though. The former #3 overall pick had a devastating developmental season in 2064.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
Marlins are such a young team it does not appear so. Norberto Reyes has not logged a Marlins at bat yet, but he's really the batting leader in most categories with 1054 hits and 208 HR. In the Rotation Don Goode could potentially get to 100 wins in 2066.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
Lots of crazy things can happen over the coarse of the season and in the playoffs and we have a bunch of really good teams. It's really hard to look pass just how good Houston and Cincinnati right now. I'll take the Astros over the Reds in 6.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? No. Defense up the middle with offense on the corners.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? The loss of Chris Thompson hurts a lot. He initially was only looking for a few mil a year extension, then when he was placed on the team he didn’t want to re-sign until a month later then since he was playing well he wanted 10M+. I offered 12M+ and he thought about it for a few sims and kept playing well and then wanted 20M+. Too rich for me. He was such a good fit for this team though….rot in hell Chris.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? Nothing really. Try to be competitive on a shoestring budget.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? Probably the Yankees. Too much money/payroll not to be.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? My owner (who stole 30M from me at the start of the season) and payroll. I need to play well enough to keep fans interested and keep inching up the ticket prices. Trying to get to a 150M budget.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? Sixto Burgos
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc. No idea
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? Sean repeats over Hou in 6

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? No, not really. I've heard some say that catcher framing is now different but I haven't adapted how I run things at all.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? Few changes in truth. We had a scare when Sato opted out but we quickly re-signed him. We'll have Juan Gutierrez out ion LF to replace Kimura who in truth we fully expected to re-sign.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? Just to see if we can build on the progress made last season (ALCS) and go one step further.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? We only just pipped Oakland last year and I expect them to be strong again. So I'll go with them.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? It used to be Colorado but I sense that post Duane they are re-building right now. So for the immediate future it's Oakland.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? Justin Morrison is the closest but his development is going slower than I'd hoped. Altogether I'm not sold on him.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc. Sato has a shot at his 300th Home run this season (needs 22) whilst Wayne Dorsett should reach his 200th (needs 18)
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? I'm sure the Astros and Reds coaches will affirm that it's really difficult to repeat no matter how good you are. So I'll plump for a couple on the edge - Nats over Tigers in 6.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? OOTP 23 didn't really change how I try to build a roster, however I am happy with most of the major changes that were publicly announced. What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
CF Greg McIntosh will be with the PBL club breaking Spring Training this year. Based on his performance in about a half a season last year, we're excited to see what his production will look like with a full season. McIntosh still has potential growth in his hitting profile, but I'm curious to see how opponents handle him this season leading off against RHP.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season?
After winning the World Series, many people will probably roll their eyes after this next statement. I really do believe that the Reds organization's future and specifically the prospects that are coming up the pipeline can make this current team even better in the future. I'll touch on specific players further down, but on paper I believe this team can add even more depth in the future.
Who do you predict will win your division this year?
Chicago is improving, but I don't think they have enough to take the division without some significant events occurring to surpass Cincinnati.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs?
Shane and I have battled it out throughout multiple points in our careers in the PBL, leading back to his days with the Pirates. From a competition standpoint at winning championships, I'd have to go with him at this point. Ryan and I will always have our own friendly rivalry, but I don't mind rooting for the Nats when they aren't playing the Reds.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level?
SP Roy Bailey is doing everything possible to make the PBL roster out of Spring Training, but at this point there just simply aren't enough spots available on the roster. Bailey will be the next man up in an injury scenario, and some additional innings at AAA may be beneficial for his overall development.
Other SP to watch for include SP Rick Vinson (AA) and Pedro Perez (AAA) who both look about a year away from being full time regulars.
One hitter that appears to be a few years away, but that could make a considerable impact on the PBL roster is OF/DH Ruben Reyes. Reyes has a potential eye/discipline of 10 and 8/9 potential power. If he develops fully, Reyes could become a staple as a clean up man for a long time.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.
Zach Davis currently sits at 250 career home runs, so it will be interesting to see if he can get close to 300 by the end of the year.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction?
I'll go back to the well, Reds vs Astros with the Reds winning in 7 games this time.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? Not really.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? We don't talk about Pablo. No. No. No. Best of luck to Pablo E and the Yanks. We really don't see ourselves competing for a championship so it's worth building for the future.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? It will be nice to see the young guys all get a chance. I don't think one of our starters is over 30.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? Washington as they are the only team that seems to try to win besides Miami.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? No big rivals here. We aren't good enough for a long period of time.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? Look out for Ricardo Perez/Blake Stewart/Jerome Evans/Keith McCain
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc. - Andrade is approaching 500 steals
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? Yankees Reds with the Reds taking it all.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? Not sure, but I wish I knew how to make the questions bold.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065?
Jamal Cervantes will lower his SO%, Barry Huffman returns to his 2063 form and Stanislav Misic's mustache gets the respect it deserves
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? 1st year in the league...it will all be exciting
Who do you predict will win your division this year? Tigers
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? I think I have made the changes needed to leap frog the Indians for 2nd place. Probably not enough to make the playoffs though
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? I'm looking forward to Woody Vaughn
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.

Spring Training is here and it's that time of the year to tell the PBL about your team and the moves you made during the off-season!
Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? No
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? More young bodies hopefully aligning to have success?
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? String together some series wins. I really believe we are close. Our pitching will have to lead the way.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? I may have overshot last season, so I will say New York will edge us out. Just hope we are there in the end?
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? As we rarely leave the division, everybody keeping us out of the post-season is a rival. I am making the Mets ours, until they aren't.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? While just a few games out of being a prospect, I am hoping CL Larry LeGrange gets an opportunity to close many for the Expos this season. And SP Andrew White will get a look in the rotation to start this season.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc. Wins first, not even looking at individual stats.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? Hmmm, I could probably do well picking the Astros every year now. I will pick Houston and Washington in the end, with the Nats in 7. Cleveland and Cincinnati will be tough to get through to the WS.

Has OOTP 23 changed how you build your roster or how you run your organization? You always wonder if defense changes from game to game, so curious if that will feel or be any different.
What changes from the 2064 roster do you think will have the biggest impact in 2065? Well, I just paid a shit ton of cash for him, so i am hoping Angel Perez.
What are you most excited about in the upcoming season? How Angel Perez will earn his money.
Who do you predict will win your division this year? I think we will but Kansas City could be a surprise.
Who is your biggest rival? Are you theirs? I really don't know and I don't know.
What prospects in your organization do you see making an impact in the next few seasons at the PBL level? Have some pitchers, one or two them should make an impact. Bogany, Chavez, Rios, Vasquez, and S. Vasquez. At least one of the Vasquez's.
Are there any players on your roster that are close to reaching a career milestone this year? Examples include 200 home runs, 1000 hits, 100 wins, etc.? Edibles have kicked in, so can't remember how to find that screen.
And finally, of course, what is your PBL 2065 World Series prediction? Astros beat the Nationals in 7.
