If this passes I would recommend these limits but they would be up for discussion.
(R) 23 years (A-) 24 years (A) 25 years (AA) 27 years (AAA) No limit
No proxy votes will be used in this poll. This is a change so 75% Yes votes are required to implement.

I'm going with no, but I'm not really hardcore in either direction. If there was some established correlation between having older players in low level teams and young players not developing, I'd be inclined to change my mind. But as of right now we don't have that case.
I also understand the realism case being made. But what's more realistic? Some a grand set of age limit rules that don't exist in the actual MLB (to the best I can discern), or GM's just being allowed to waste minor league roster spots for a meaningless chance of leading the Appalachian league in wins if that's what brings them joy? I dunno. They both seem equally silly to me.
Again, I can't see the rule harming anything as phrased so its not a big deal. Just seems a little pointless.

I think the biggest part for me is that the developers clearly identified this as a loophole that could be exploited, so at some point they added this option into the game. For people that don't like to tinker their minors much, this really wouldn't be much of an issue and the AI would continue making the adjustments.
The only people this really makes a difference to are the ones that use the loophole, and don't like that attention is being called to it. The AI isn't putting older players on rookie ball teams, and the teams doing it know or believe they are getting some benefit from it.
I voted yes, because I don't believe this type of manipulation benefits the league. I'm not going to go run a sandbox of 100 seasons, but I'd imagine that continuing to keep players in the universe that shouldn't really be there would have an impact on future player generation as well. What that impact is, I really don't know but the thought being that if a certain level of player continues to be rostered then it's less likely to be replaced.

We’re all entitled to our opinions of course but how can you argue with Sean on this one.

This poll does not pass. Age limits will not be added.

I know this poll is settled, but I'd like to chime in here. I myself do not think anyone is doing anything wrong with their teams, but the second part about keeping the league jammed up with 32 year old career minor leaguers is a point I agree with very much. It is indeed not good for the player generation, as far as everything I've seen in the league's history.
