We have this old rule on the books "Recently drafted players cannot be traded until after the World Series of the season they were signed."
I do not see a reason for this rule. If you've paid the signing bonus and he is on your roster, then he is your asset to do with as you will. Also, I have to admit it may not have been consistently regulated. There is no way to automate the regulation and if a draft guy was put through a trade I likely would not have realized it unless I specifically had scouted the player in my draft prep and recognized the name.
Less rules are always better for simplicity. If someone does vote to keep it I'd appreciate hearing the reason. Not because I want to mix it up, I just honestly do not see the reason for it.
This is a rule change so 75% majority is necessary to remove it. Proxy votes will be cast to remove.

may want to add, yes only after they are signed or are we opened to trading the rights to the drafted player I can put something in the governance to clarify, but that seems obvious to me. You don't have any rights to a player if you don't agree to a signing bonus. If you don't pay it he goes back into the pool for next seasons draft. He's not your player until you pay him. <shrug> If you want to get reimbursed via money back in a trade, that's up for negotiation in the trade.

This poll passes. The rule has been removed. Drafted players are now eligible to be traded as soon as they are signed and in an organization.
