Currently A- and Rookie ball are both short season. I expect this is a result of there being so much disparity between how R and A- were distributed.
There was discussion about what the length should be. I think there is a benefit to having a short season for players to jump into after the draft. I also think there is a benefit to having more innings available for development.
This is a change so 75% is required to pass. (Yes votes for both to full + A- to full)
Proxy votes will be to set A- to full season and leave R at short season.

I would like to explore the possibility of increasing the games played in AAA, AA, and A. Currently the schedules call for: - AAA = 126 games
- AA = 142 games
- A = 140 games
For a long time, I have felt that the AAA schedule, especially, is too short. Schedules of 140 games or more might be fine, but I feel the AAA schedule, at a minimum, should be lengthened.
Thoughts, anyone?

Thoughts, anyone? I honestly had not noticed that. Yeah, I think AAA to 140 is a no brainer.

i Agree 100% there should be more or atleast as many games in AAA as AA, A. as for A- and R ball i think A- having more games in a season is a good thing but R ball should be a short season. While more games in a season is good for development it also allows more chances for injury. I'm not sure if younger players e.g. <20 are more susceptible to injury. In my mind it would seem more likely that younger players would be.

I expect the reason for the shortened AAA schedule is so that it ends around the time that the 40-man switches on, so that you can gut your AAA roster without creating weirdness.

Well that's just weird. I've got nothing then.
