Breaking news.
Peter of the Chicago Cubs informed me today that he has decided to retire from the PBL. This decision was not a result of any pressure from the commissioners office. He just decided he was not enjoying the league at this time. This did come as a bit of a shock as his engagement has been pretty strong. I let him know how much I appreciated him coming to me upfront instead of fading away like many do. He left the league in good standing and with a lot of class. I also let him know that the door is open for him to return at a later date if he so desires.
In a related story, the long time GM team of the Cleveland Indians has decided to split up. Randy has confirmed with the commissioners office that he will be relinquishing full control of the Indians organization to Nick and will step into the recently vacated General Manager roll of the Chicago Cubs.
This change will occur in Friday night's sim.
Best of luck Randy. I have no doubt the Cubbies will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.

Good luck Randy! I hope to see the Cubbies rocking the NL Central! Thanks everyone for making this a great league to play in. I'm in 8 leagues and just can't keep up with all of them any longer (and do a good job running all my teams).
Maybe I will see you guys at some point down the road. PBL is a great league with solid, competitive GMs. Thanks.

Thank you Peter for the good luck, I'm a one team owner and I can't imagine running 8 different leagues, I will be lucky to run 1 team, as needed in the best OOTP (PBL) with the greatest Comish & the greatest GM's in all of the OOTP leagues. But I promise, the CUBS will make a come back. Good Luck Peter, you will be missed.

Wow!....Sorry to see you leave Peter, it has been a pleasure competing with you.
I'm excited for Randy and Nick as they take on their challenges.
Good luck to everyone. Long live the PBL!

Exciting to see "full Randy". I've had slight inclination as to who is making what choices at times, but now the guesswork is gone and it will fun to see his moves. I thought he did an awesome job with the Yankees a while back. 🍿

Sad to see you go Peter, you're a nice guy with a lot of passion for your Cubs! I think being in all those leagues would be hard and hopefully you can find a few that you like best and concentrate on building those teams up, and if you ever want to come back I would love to see you return. Best of luck.
Randy is a great GM and should be able to do just what Nick did a long while back---make the Cubs a contender.

Repercussions from the Téllez deal?

Cubs update: Randy: I took over as GM of the Cubs last night. The team needs a lot of work on everything. Finances, team interest, prospects, minor leagues, ticket prices, scouting. What new GM's coming in and join the PBL is that this league has the best GM's in any OOTP league their is out there. I have played in leagues since it started, this is the best GM's I have ever played against, this league is special. Back to my Cubs, we have a lot of work to do. But I promise you I will do my best to win, but it will take time. My hat is off to Shane Pirates for being so great. This is why I love the PBL.
Also I'm pulling for GM Mets this year to win the whole dam thing. Finner is my man. Ron as a Commish, you are the man, great job running the best league in the OOTP leagues, you are the best
