Select your choice for the National League All-Star First Baseman. Stats included are AVG/OBP/SLG/VORP. Campaign for your pick in this thread!

How is Prince Fielder not for consideration? Even though I've changed him to DH he's still a 1B right?
Fielder currently leads the AL in OBP (.447), SLG (.610), VORP (40.5!), and HRs (21) ....
Plus isnt the 2011 All star game in an AL park? So there would be a DH playing anyway right?

If Reds GM is basing this off of strictly 1B and isn't looking for each team's DH, Fielder won't come up.

He's only played at 1b in inter league play, although I think we should be voting for a DH as both AL and NL teams will field a DH during this all star game.
It doesnt really effect my team so Im not too bothered if Prince doesnt go this year, but it'd be a shame for the AL's best slugger to miss out.

Just put a question on how we want to handle DHs in the All Star Candidates thread.
