Has anyone else have problems downloading the league file from the website and trying to install it. I have been trying to install it and OOTP tells me the game is corrupt. Are there any ways that I can fix this problem? I am on mac by the way.

Not on a Mac, Mac. :-) There are some that are. But you can test the walk-through for Macs on the website paramountbaseball.net/ (right-hand side - Getting Started Step-by-Step for Mac). Let us know if it works. Did you have a problem that caused you to re-install the game file?

I was unable to download the game, so I tried reinstalling the file and now it says the file is corrupt.

The actual message you receive is "File is Corrupt"?
You may need to hook up with a Mac person.
And keep in mind there is no file to actually download today (Thursday). But that would not produce a "corrupt"?

Did you delete the original game folder (assume PBL.lg) in your saved_games folder that had been been working or just rename it?
And the corrupt, folder can't load message is when you try to LOAD the file from the OOTP main menu OR when you are in the PBL ame already and just trying to download the new file? Can you export your PBL file within the game?
You're not giving me a whole lot of information to work with in any of your posts.

Are you on the PBL Slack channel? ?? It would be a lot faster to chat.

Sorry. No. So it is happening after I deleted the file and am trying to reopen it from the ootp main menu. It gets to 21% and tells me names can't load and then game is corrupt

Gotcha! Confirmed. There is something wrong with the link to the League File on the website. The names.dat file seems to not be included in that ZIP. Odd. Here is the error produced: The file to which the link on the website points is called pbl.lg.zip and I assume it's the one created each time Derek sims the game. Only HE can really tell that. I'll take a look around, but best if he has a look as the Commissioner.

I've sent Derek (copied Ron) a PM about this Mac. This would be a problem for anyone trying to start over again with a fresh file.

Mac, do you have your ootp17 file from when you were last in the league? Just import that if you do.

Should be good now. names.dat is back in the zip, which means both Mac and the new MILW GM should be able to d/l and install the file.
Thanks Derek!
