Any Mac users that have a list of instructions to setup a league file on a Mac?
Or any Commissioners from other leagues that may have a "Welcome to the League Mac User" setup message passed on to newcomers?
We do have a very nice tutorial for the PC on the website (and many know that by heart). It would be nice to have a step-by-step for the Mac too.

I would greatly appreciate this as well. Whenever someone joins with a mac, i'm useless in helping them get set-up. Something about a library, thats all I know.

Have a source. Apparently once you find the "saved_games" folder on the Mac, everything else is pretty much the same?
I'll try to get some really obvious screen shots of where that is and then do a doc for the website, so it's handy for the next Mac-user.

There are links to get to the saved games folder. Its just a pain to try and explain that process to a newbie on ootp. then also trying to explain the accounts files as well is just frustrating. starter files for the win.

Have a run-through from a Mac user now, complete with screens. Will assemble tonight and post. Hope it's a bit helpful?

I use a Mac. I have found the steps one follows to be very similar to the instructions for PC use. The most significant challenge, for me, was locating the folders and files. Once I did, the rest was easy. To locate PBL folders and files:
Using Finder, select Go to Folder and then enter the following path:
/Users/[your Mac user name]/Library/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments/
My user name is Tim. Yours will be the name you established on your Mac.
The path will direct you to the default destination used for OOTP. Then select the PBL.lg folder to find all folders and files.
On my Mac the path is retained as the default, so I only had to enter the complete path once. Now I only need to select Go to Folder and then proceed.
I hope this helps.
[Edit] Using this method to locate the PBL folders and files is especially useful when I want to delete the online_league_file_time.cfg file in the Settings folder. Doing so enables me to download the latest league file a second time.

When you get a chance, have a look at the article (right hand, bottom of list) on the front page of the PBL website and let me know if that captures this?

When you get a chance, have a look at the article (right hand, bottom of list) on the front page of the PBL website and let me know if that captures this? Getting Started Step by Step for MACThe instructions combine narrative with illustrations to guide a new user through the start-up process. The instructions, as written, essentially are the same as using the Go To Folder option and entering the complete path. Either approach works. The illustrations should help new users, especially those who are not familiar with paths, folders, files, etc.
Excellent job, David. Thanks!
