Hey guys,
I've been having trouble downloading the file for a few days now. Everytime I go to downolad it my game crashes. I've tried putting it in passive and active mode and nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any ideas as to why this would be happening?

Are you turning your firewall off, if not try that

You may have to try and re-download the league file from the website. If I recall correctly, that's what I had to do when I had a similar problem.

Small little update,
I re-downloaded the league file and it was already on the updated day. I changed all of my settings, but now it crashes every time I go to export. My lineup is a mess and I would really liked to get this fixed soon
Edit: I tried both allowing it on my firewall, as well as downloading the file again

When you say crashing, what do you mean?
Out to Windows? Error message that you cannot upload? Complete crash requiring rebooting computer?
Assume you put the settings folder and the GM file into the new game folder?
This sounds really odd, but I'm sure we can collectively help?

The game will get to about 12% on the load and then freeze until I click the program, which will say it's not responding and take it out to the desktop. When I tried to upload the file it just quit immediately and yes I have the settings file inside the folder as well

My download locks up at 12% sometimes for as long as 30-45 minutes. Even though the program says it is not responding it eventually finishes.

I just moved (and upgraded...slightly) my internet.
I have a couple of places where things go "not responding".
When I open and load the game, I find it holds at 67% for whatever reason. Usually 30-60secs (give or take), then the game finsihes up and opens to the GM login.
When downloading the game file (in the game) after I click d/l latest file, it cycles through to 12% (sometimes 16%) and holds for a while, but then keeps going. It then halts for some time at "100% closing" before the game begins to actually load and then I revert to the 67% as above.
Every league is a little different...AND time of day can be a factor...your ISP...I suppose if it's WiFi and several are accessing it...all that would factor in. And your hardware of course!
I've been where Ron was, at an extended time, but thankfully it's a bit quicker now.
Just let it do it's thing - walk the dog - grab a coffee - and wait.
But time it too. Then you can eval ways to speed things up. Anthony, for example, suggested when he went to a SSD (solid state drive) instead of standard hard drive, his whole computer improved dramatically. I have one, just haven't spent the time to upgrade my machine yet.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
