Does anyone have any advice/guidance on how to create/manage a draft list in the game? I've exported the draft pool and ordered them they way I want to approach the draft but understand at some point we move to in-game draft lists.
I've read StatsLab has this function but I don't see the draft functions on the PBL site.

I create an Excel Spreadsheet where I rate them and sort with a columm to enter the team that drafts them so I can easily see who is taken and who is still available. This takes a lot of time and I know there are probably better ways but this is what works for me.

I've read StatsLab has this function but I don't see the draft functions on the PBL site. I don't have the game open right now but it is something like PBL/Transactions/Draft Pool. Then on that screen there is a Draft List tab. If you have not found this by the time I get to my PC tonight I'll post screen shots then. You add guys to the draft list by dragging and dropping. Be sure to copy the list to all rounds. I have wasted my time and effort on the draft more than once by only populating the first round. That is the draft list will be used for rounds 3-30. You have at least 2-3 weeks worth of sims before we get to that point in the calendar though. As far as managing rounds 1-2 that will be done on the boards, Mac has the right idea. Exporting to a spreadsheet is probably the best and easiest method.

I believe Ron is correct with his location in the game.
Another thing you can do, if you want the AI to sort it all out for you, is to simply use the drop down upper right and ask the AI to pick ALL ROUNDS.
How deep you want to go with the draft picks is up to you of course.

The shortlist feature is one way you can manage the list of players you like as well.
When a player is selected, I remove them from my list.
It's easier for me for the in game rounds this way because I can then go into the draft list and grab the players that are all in caps and sort them the way I'd like.

Seems simple, but effective.

I was using an excel sheet before bit realized most if not all the information I was looking for was already sortable in the shortlist.

Thanks all. I have my spreadsheet sorted to my liking, was looking for a way to bring the work from the spreadsheet into the game without having to build the list manually.
