Currently away in a hotel and trying to download the league file on my laptop. Getting error could not download file....any suggestions. I am assuming it has something to do with the connection.
I have the game installed and is up to date (downloading and uploaded at home no problems)
Thanks

Did you try changing the FTP settings?

May have to be in a hotel for a few days myself soon. What was your issue and solution?

The issue was bandwidth. Even with "premium" (a whole 6mbs/sec), it was too slow. I went under the online league FTP Options, checked the box "if possible, use HTML instead of FTP to download the league file" and changed FTP mode to passive.
It took forever (like 30 mins) and looked unresponsive, but it worked!!!!
So in short if you don't see the error message...hang in there

I literally had the same problem last week while on vacation, just said screw it and downloaded a new file everytime but this is great info!
