Ping pong balls by team look like this:
Cardinals 25 Cubs 21 Astros 16 Expos 11 Blue Jays 8 Mets 6 Nationals 5 Tigers 4 Braves 3 Brewers 1
And the results are..... (Drumroll please)
1. Blue Jays 2. Cardinals 3. Expos 4. COMP PICK Cubs 5. Astros 6. Cubs 7. COMP PICK Astros 8. Mets 9. Braves 10. Nationals 11. Tigers 12. Brewers

Wait... Which Cubs pick is being traded to Cincy? #6? Comp picks cannot be traded so yes it's #6. Somehow the #2 pick fell to 6th.

When will we see the final draft order? Or where can I find that?

When will we see the final draft order? Or where can I find that? I will be creating and publishing the official draft plot sometime in the next few days. In the interim, you can go under "Transactions" in the OOTP app. The draft order there should be pretty close to accurate. One of the reasons we do it on the boards is the application is historically buggy and inconsistent in handling comp picks and traded picks. If you have questions on any specific picks feel free to post here or send me a PM.

Worst result would have been him dropping from 2 to 10th Yep, that would be the "worst". However, dropping to 6th is pretty shitty. That being said though, I believe based on the prospects we know will be available that this draft might have the potential to be more plentiful than previous years.

I hope you're right about that! I think I still have 4 picks in the 1st round and 2 more in the 2nd.

Worst result would have been him dropping from 2 to 10th If you're using the NBA lottery format that's impossible, but I don't know if that's what we use

Worst result would have been him dropping from 2 to 10th If you're using the NBA lottery format that's impossible, but I don't know if that's what we use It is a rough take of the NBA format, but more basic. Simply number of ping pong balls listed at the top of the thread. When one of a teams comes up, the rest of that teams come out and it goes on to the next pick. We don't have anything in place to put a cap on how far a team can rise or fall. A couple years ago the Brewers got the first pick from I think the 8th position? Maybe 7th? Cubs had 21 balls in it. So, while the odds of none of the 21 being taken before all other teams have one is astronomical, it could technically happen. For what it's worth

P.S. As long as we are getting all technical on it. The Cubs pick that was originally #2 actually only dropped three positions to #5 in the lottery. The Comp Pick that is thrown in at number 4 pushes everything after it down one position.
