We will draft the first two rounds here on the boards. There is a 24 hour time limit for round one and 12 hours for round two. This time limit only applies if I have not heard anything from the team on the clock. I will be happy to grant extensions. Just keep me informed. At the end of the time limit I will auto pick for you. If you plan on receiving an auto pick please inform me so we can keep the draft moving. Do not be the guy that gets the timed out auto pick. That is bad juju. On the other hand, short lists to keep the draft moving and are very good juju. Throw some currency into the karma piggy bank. Yay for short lists. Boo for timed out auto picks.
I will do my best to notify GMs when their pick is coming up (I usually do a pretty good job). Try to keep an eye on the boards as it is ultimately the team's responsibility to know when they are on the clock.
Draft picks are available to be traded up until the time that pick is on the clock. Picks on the clock cannot be traded.
The auto pick list is generated by the Brewers scout in game. I ask my scout to generate a list and that is what I auto pick from.
There will be a thread titled "Players picked by last name". Go ahead and quick check the availability of your guy there to avoid the embarrassing "Player has already been picked" pick.
Any draft related questions or concerns send me a PM or bring them up here.
So, without further adieu. Let's get this party started!

I like to be transparent, and i do not want to put Ron in a tough spot, so i will post for all to see.
On Wednesday night i put together a draft list and sent it by PM to Ron. At least i THOUGHT i did. When Ron messaged me this morning while I was at work to say I was on deck for my pick, i couldn't believe my eyes. My draft list was no where to be seen.
My dilemma. I am home now and put together another list of players I want to choose. The player i want to select at #4 in the second round has not yet been chosen (i will not reveal his name here, but i did to Ron in a recent PM) and i want to switch my player for the guy i want.
Are there any objections? if so, i completely understand and will move on. But wanted to at least ask if anyone doesn't have an issue with it, if i could swap out my picks with the guy i really want.
Let me know either way folks. Really appreciate it.

The string of bad luck the past few seasons confirms as much.

I got the PM about 1/2 hour ago and have been struggling with it. On one hand I hate to set a precedent. However since this is the first time it has come up it probably won't be a huge deal. There have been a couple supportive posts as well. I won't lie. The fact that this is an established GM helps the case.
It also helps that this is a second round pick. I would not be ok with this in the top of the first round.
It did not impact the next three picks I know. There was a short list pick, an auto pick and my pick.
The only issue may be for the Braves. He was obviously looking at outfielders also. Anthony. You have the opportunity to change your pick to Peterson if by chance he would have been your guy.

And as i mentioned in the PM, i really hate to even put you on the spot. Won't happen again from me. It sucks my list didn't get to you, but i have to be more diligent in making sure it does from now on.
