That’s what happens when you do half ass research while you’re high. No offense was meant I thought it was bizarre and now makes sense

So of the 47 players in the 2049 draft class who played in a competition level of good or great, and has 2 stars or better only 2 of them have a personality of leader RP Hines and SP Stollings. I know not a fun fact but an interesting one at-least i think so.

SP Randy Brown has a fun 5 game stretch going. In his last 5 starts, 2 of them are 9-inning complete game shutouts and the other three are 5 innings of 3,2,3 earned runs allowed.

6 weeks into the season and the Warhounds have lost the first game of the week all 6 weeks!
Nothing like starting each week 0-1

Norris Barton has 5 starts this season in which he has thrown over 122 pitches, with starts with 124, 125, 126, 131, and 134. Across the league, only one other pitcher has even 1 start with that many (Theron Law of Montreal with 126 pitches)

The 2049 Oakland Athletics set a single season team records for the most strikeouts by their batters with 1804, beating the record of 1772 set by the 2046 Kansas City Royals. The 1804 total comes out to just over 11.1 strikeouts per game.
Not much of a surprise here, the this season's Kansas City Royals set a team record for fewest quality starts in a season with 2, shattering the previous low of 13 by the 2033 Oakland Athletics.
This year's Carolina Warhounds set the single season record for Blown Saves with 36, breaking the record of 35 held by the 2024 Colorado Rockies and the 2043 Toronto Blue Jays.

Not so fun fact:
If you only count CLE & ChiSox record from May 1st til the end of the regular season the AL Central standings would look a lot different.
ChiSox 91-47
CLE 84-55
We lived off that 20-3 hot start all season long.

Congratulations to Jose Vera (LAD) and Duane Hansen (COL) for entering the 400 career HR club in the PBL! Vera is 29 years old and 292 days and Hansen is 32 years old and 104 days.
That being said, Vera has been a pro longer with 10 years and 142 days compared to Hansen at 9 years 49 days.
It will be interesting to follow these two players throughout their remaining careers.
So far this season, Vera appears to have rebounded with his AVG and OBP but his power production has gone down. Is this because of the switch from GABP to Dodger Stadium?
Hansen is just doing what he normally does. 10 HR so far and on pace for 37 this year. He's not the same player that hit 71, 58, and 56 HR in a season but he still can carry a team for long periods at a time. The exciting part for Hansen is that the decreases in power and eye rating last season and this offseason have returned to previous levels.

With C Roy Denton’s ROY win, CLE has fielded 6 out of the last 13 ROY winners. I had to look, and came up a bit short, but SD has won 5 of the last 11 ROY awards.
