3. What is the pessimistic fan saying about your organization?
We haven't made enough moves and haven't drafted very well. Its time for a new GM
4. What is your prediction for your +/- to wins from last season?
+ 8 - 10 that would get us above 90 wins and a real shot at the playoffs
5. Are you poised for a playoff run in 2055? If not, how far out is your window?
Yes - finally ATL is back (Maybe) - We have one of the best bullpens in the league and should be improved on every side
6. What is the best division in the PBL and why?
I don't think its close the NL West - but I could be living in the past
7. What impact have recent rule changes had on your organization and/or strategy?
None really - I like them though
8. If all rosters were cleared out and all players were in a draft (retaining their current contracts) and you had the #1 pick, who would you take?
I'm a pitching wins guy so it would be between Paul Burke, Kenny Ibarra and Walt Perez - I think I would choose Burke but its close

War and OBP
10. What are the top statistics you use to evaluate pitcher performance?

1. What off season move(s) will have the most impact on your season? Just looking at the season ahead, letting John Toney walk in his FA year and trading SP Carlos Vazquez and 1B Kakuta to the Cubs will have a negative impact on our upcoming season. It isn’t that we won’t try to fill those holes, but on paper, those players would have contributed mightily to our season ahead. The other impact to our season ahead is the approach to avoid tanking and to fight for every damn win possible. Toronto deserves a winner and our on field product will reflect that mentality each and every game we play.
2. What is the optimistic fan saying about your organization? The team is under new leadership with a purpose and goal to build a perennial winner. Looking for any edge possible at each position will be the focus while building a prospect pipeline of talent will be the goal. When the team begins to win consistently, the fans will come out and that will help our bottom line. It’s the WEPF approach that will ultimately guide our future success.
3. What is the pessimistic fan saying about your organization? The team hasn’t had a 90+ win season since 2029 and there is no hope in sight of reaching that mark again. The team traded young, talented players in Vazquez and Kakuta for unproven, high-ceiling talent that could set the team back for years to come. Spend more money on this team!
4. What is your prediction for your +/- to wins from last season? With 72 wins last season but losing talent we expect to be minus (-) 5 in wins. 67 seems about right. That said, the team we begin the season with could very well change for the better by the time the last game of the season is played.
5. Are you poised for a playoff run in 2055? If not, how far out is your window? A big fat NOPE! Give me 4 seasons. I will have this ship turned around by then!
6. What is the best division in the PBL and why? It’s gotta be the NL West. Not only is each GM a great guy, but their GM skills continue to build teams that contend year after year in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Their friendly rivalry of trash talking, unique way they build their teams and consistent success really stand out to me.
7. What impact have recent rule changes had on your organization and/or strategy? No real changes at this time, but certainly time will tell and I will be ready to adjust if I see the reason to.
8. If all rosters were cleared out and all players were in a draft (retaining their current contracts) and you had the #1 pick, who would you take? It would be CF Makalani Korra. The ultimate 5 tool player who at 22 years old would man the CF position for the next 10 years.
9. What are the top statistics you use to evaluate batter performance? wOBA, OPS+, wRC+, and WAR. I like adjusted stats (+) to gauge the league context of the player performance, while wOBA tells me the quality of performance of the player.
10. What are the top statistics you use to evaluate pitcher performance? WHIP, FIP, BB/9, HR/9, K/9, K/BB, ERA+ and WAR (including RWAR). WPA and IRS% for relievers.
11. What is your 2055 PBL World Series prediction? Texas and Washington will battle it out for all of the marbles. Texas will prevail.
