Which is freaking crazy. Sure, being the closer of the Yankees gave him a lot of clutch opportunities, but still.

Fangraphs. The reason for the difference is that BBR's list starts in 1925. But "This statistic is computed from play-by-play data which is only complete from 1974 to the present. From 1925-1973, the data is incomplete, though for most seasons only less than 20 games per season total are missing." I can only assume that the differences of order for players whose careers are all past 1973 (Pedro and Johnson) arise from a difference in calculation.
